I'm pretty sure this is the same place I went, and the prices were *not* this outrageous. I didn't do the therapy and such but I can tell you that a dog salon should *not* charge for a blow dry, you can't just wash the dog and expect them to walk out like that. Buzzfeed is clickbaiting, we all know. $25.10 and $56?? Honey I'm going home. $86 to be groomed by someone prestige, can sometimes be seen, though usually it is a big dog.

... as someone who works at a dog grooming facility. It’s not relaxing for them to get groomed. It’s incredibly stressful. Both of the dogs in the video seemed alright, but this isn’t the norm. People thinking that dogs have the same reactions that we do when having these things done is absolutely wild to me. In a non expensive af environment you would NOT have that kind of reaction.

Agreed. I believe an owner should bath and brush their own dogs (unless physically unable to do so). It's less scary of an expirience for the dog and creates a better bond with them when you do it yourself instead of taking them to a stranger danger packed area with loud noises and mild chaos.

DubaiSparklez513 RIGHT I mean I get my dog groomed (because her fur is crazy) and take her to the dog park where she can interact with other dogs. But $300 that is crazy ... That's a lot of kibble. Plus her vet bills.. I mean I give her the attention they did for free! But I hope the dogs in this video were very pleased ! Love animals😂✨❤️

I'm such a nudge when I say this but that $600 would've been so much better used as a donation to a no kill shelter :/ I get it, I'm damn grateful for my dogs, that's why I give them "touch therapy" every day, for free, at home...from the person they want it from. Anthropomorphism of animals will only lead us to waste our resources on effete treatments like these. Dog stinks? Wash dog with dog shampoo. Dog needs love? Love dog. Easy. Want a spa day for yourself, go for it, you're a human and dogs do not get into the bliss market they way we do so save the dimes and give them to dogs that are on their last legs...just sayin

Exactly like that $60,000 manicure!!! Yes i get it im a girl and i LOVE getting my nails done, what girl doesn’t?! When i saw that video i said “wow.... 60K on a mani... that could’ve gone to a charity..

I think they were sponsored in this case. Buzzfeed usually doesn't pay, its the places that want publicity and give offers to Buzzfeed.

+Corαl true, I still wish the efforts, and funding would've served a better purpose. Dogs are wonderful, priceless companions, it's just kind of gross that capitalism has created this niche.
