@@skonstas4683 Dogs, all though distant descendants of wolves are not really wild animals anymore. They have been artificially and purposefully bred to be our domesticated companions over at least 15000 years (maybe even 30000). Having said that, humans are animals too so I’m not sure wether the word “humanize” can even be used in that context (or indeed any context). The fact is that tribes of humans can and do survive in the wild all over the planet which renders your comment kinda moot.

I could not agree more. I am also getting older and jaded by the inhumanity shown by humans towards animals and other humans that you can get a mindset that everyone is despicable. These video's give me some faith that not everyone is greedy, selfish and uncaring. When you take a Dog, you and the dog agree a unwritten contract to keep a bond of affection for life. A Dog should never be betrayed!

There could be more to the story. They may now have too many pets already or live somewhere that doesn't accept pets or can't afford to care for an older dog. Any number of reasons.

Don't get dogs if you leave them later. Period.

Some people are so selfish. They get dogs or cats in the moment usually as pups/kittens and then decide they don't want them later. It is so sad. But in Bobi's case, a blessing in disguise I feel. Idk why I get the feeling this owner was mean to Bobi??! But congrats Bobi!!🎉🎉🎉💙💙💙

My family adopted Snuggles when he was 1. I keep having allergies for the longest time. My mom finally took me to a specialist to see what was wrong with me. I found out that I was allergic to my dog. My mom and the doctor told me I need to get rid of him but it was already too late, he was family now. He was embedded into my heart forever. So I actually suffered for like almost a decade, but then my brother took him in for a couple of years. He came back to me and lived out the rest of his years. He was 14 when he passed. RIPSnuggles ❤️

Sometimes dogs run away repeatedly. We adopted a runaway Yellow Lab from our canyon neighborhood friend. We thought he was a bad pet owner and maybe he WAS . Then Mikey the Lab started doing the same thing he did from the previous owner. He would taken off from the ranch and end up many miles away , traversing valleys. Multiple times. He would dig underneath the yard fence, enticed our other dog into running away with him. Multiple times. We got fined, several threats from strangers calling us every name in the book. So we had to eventually surrender him to Animal Services. He eventually got re-adopted AGAIN by a poor unfortunate fool. Guess what??? We got a random call MONTHS later. We heard a panting sound, and a man on the other line asking is if we were the owners. Animal Services allowed Mikey to be adopted out with OUR tags on him!!! We felt bad for Mikey but couldn’t help but laugh nervously as the man said he was being CHASED down the highway by this dog! Mikey wherever you are you are a troublemaker! You had it ALL and threw it all away by being a runaway. My mama and the rest of the family adored him but he was just too freein spirit to be chained down... We heard a rumor he had scaled the wall the new owners had and escaped. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My dog was found running through the streets near her home, brought to a shelter and scanned. Her owners at the time said they left her with a pet sitter, she must have escaped, someone would come get her eventually. Then they never came for her. Their loss was my gain.

I found this story difficult to understand how someone could abandon their dog as well, but we really don't know the circumstances behind this story. Dementia might have taken it's toll. we just don't know !

I don’t care what your excuse is, you can still take time to bring the dog to a shelter or find someone to adopt him, you don’t just kick them to the curb and leave them to die.

I"ll bring a bat

I adopted a shelter dog named Radar because he was found on the grounds of an airport! 1.5 years later we are inseparable and everyone remarks what a great dog he is.

What a loving dog, he seems very happy now. Thanks for helping him.

Just found this video. Hope this sweetheart was adopted by a loving family. I have to say that it is BS that he ran away. No way that dog could travel 10 miles. He was dumped. The owner didn't want an old dog, blind in one eye.

People who rescue dogs like this have the biggest hearts.

Unfortunately you have some very ugly people that take a dog, keep him in chains to protect the yard and when they are old they dump them on the streets because they are not longer if use. Very very hideous people.

Bobbi is beautiful and happy now. I hope someone can love him forever❤😢😅😍😋😊

I've got two huskies. One was too playful and energetic and the other ran away from an abusive home. They sleep in bed with me and my wife. Sasha and Vega are good boys and they are loving. When I had covid and I was on my back for a month, Sasha only left me for the bathroom. Other than that, he stayed right next to me, cuddling with me while I struggled to breathe and slept for most of the day every day. He is a good dog. That's why we have dogs. It's a mutal loving relationship. That's not something I'd give up. I can't imagine why this dog was given up.

UPDATE On Bobi (in the description) Bobi was adopted!! He was adopted by someone in Delaware, United States!

"Animals can't show emotions". That is something you sometimes hear but when you look at this dog you can see in his eyes that he has a broken heart. Luckily they found him in time to give a very good life because he looks like an amazing dog that deserves to be loved.

Disagree, I think they show a reasonable range of emotions. Their faces can certainly show when they are happy or not so.

Animals obviously show emotions; this is why we can easily recognise excited dogs and angry dogs. Heck, face expressions are fairly universal, and dogs show face emotions very much like humans do.

I keep being amazed by the way these poor unwanted dogs seem to know their lives are going to change, and trust their rescuers. They still have a lot of love to share.

Ronan the Ronin Sorry to hear that, but is it an actual consensus diagnosis by a number of physicians or just a self-assessment? In people that eat heavy animal based diets, the population of bacteria responsible for breaking down plant based matter might become very small or even extinct, so a plan will need to be devised to carefully introduce plant based foods to develop the ability to break it down. Hopefully you’ll find a way, you seem like a person with a good heart! 🌱

What a sweetheart. I'll take him. (That's why my wife won't let me go to the shelter anymore.) The last one was an elderly beagle. She had chf and none wanted her. After I looked in her face I took her home. She died new years morning after being with us for 2 years. My heart aches daily still. My dogs treat me better than anyone, and I them.

For most of her life, my mother had a sign up in her kitchen, "The more time I spend around people, the more I love my dog!" It has always struck a chord with me and sounds like it applies to you too. Sadly, they also leave paw prints on your heart when they go. I'm sorry for your recent loss. Been there, done that .... it sucks.

That dog was abused and its obvious. "Ran away" my ass. He was found 10 miles from his home, injured, limping, and scared of humans. And to top it off, the owner coincidentally doesnt want him back. Obvious animal abuse and im glad someone else is taking care of him now.

The former owner seriously needs a hard kick in the nuts.
