technically the secret phase was the first run, you have to shoot the dogs until all their jet packs steam dark grey smoke. The regular phase is shooting the pups until they “die”.

I loved the little reference to how Saltbaker was overworked, which inevitably caused him to turn! I definitely hope to see more Cuphead from this channel (maybe Bootlegger Boogie next?)

I could go on about the clever writing from the opening dialogue to the song or the incredible singing of the voice actors but can we talk about how this man incorporated the secret phase of this boss that makes sense to the cuphead series because the sheer commitment to do all that work is just amazing.

Nice work as always, RecD!! The whole video and musical number is fantastic! My favorite parts were the Tom scream cameo and the sequence at the end! Also I'm glad to see that Pupper, my childhood dog who passed away in 2013, made it in a video on KZread years later, immortalized with her rocking the red doggie sweater and bows on her ears!

These guys right here (along with Ester Winchester and The Moonshine gang) are my 3rd personal favourites among the new DLC and I'm still curious If they'll ever appear In Season 3 (or Season 4) of The Cuphead Show, since Ironically enough we already got a dog couple since there all "Bark" and no "Bite" without a certain "sniff" of a hinting clue! That dog pilot holdin' Wener's mechanical cats unless that's actually the real original cat that was modelled by Wener himself to mimic his own Pseudo Clone! Though I'm still curious why you didn't Including "Chef Saltbaker's Coda" from your previous video of "Baking The Wondertart"? Also; what kind of pastries and treats did each boss order that drove Saltbaker with rage? So far one of them order some doughnut and some french brad but the other still remains unanswered? Sorry Saluki; but you''ll never be as good as a certain "Harrington" let lone a real 'Gusman"! @@David-rg3dq In world war 2 or 1: they called Germans Jerries and Brits Tommies, I believe the term Spikes/Butches is referring to the 3rd party countries (eg. the French) and I think the other names are just famous cartoon dogs, although I haven’t heard of the last 2

1:45 up until Saluki's 3rd line is my favorite part

It's so clever how you have part of the song repeat because Cup and Chalice failed and had to restart. Such a good in universe way to keep the song going without it being too jarring. I secretly hope you do more Cuphead songs cus your lyrics are so great
