Yes this remedy works beautifully! The problem is, my chihuahua loves coconut oil and will try to lick it off. I tried bitter apple spray mixed in with it and that stopped her! 🐾♥️.

Braggs just got bought out, not good. I love your hotspot solution with green tea, lavender, copabia and tea tree oil. Heals a bloody skin issue up overnight! My dog loved it, but only if I used Young Living oils. She ran away from a lesser quality oil before I could get the mixture on her. They are so much more aware than we are.

🤔 I agree that both those things are good for a dogs skin, BUT, if it's a hot spot, or irritated skin, the ACV is going to sting like crazy. Also, dogs like the taste of coconut oil so much, that the are just going to lick it right off, which won't do them any good.

I took my Chihuahua GIZMO to the vet because he gets this every year and it's on his backside his little butt. I normally would use Aloe vera but I was unable to get good Aloe vera. I had left my plants out and we got a frost and they didn't make it. I took him to vet but the medication they put him on I had to order a blow up collar so he would not lick it due to it not being safe to consume. I got the blow up collar and used medication but he refused to eat or drink. I'm so glad you put this video out. I just mixed it up and I'm going to try this. Praying 🙏for you. Thank you for your video..

Perfect, thank you so much Dr. Jones for this valuable information. Since oil and vinegar do not mix, if I add a tiny drop of dish soap in order for the two to bind, will the dish soap be safe to put on still? Thank you kindly. Adding a tiny drop binds both water and oil into a nice paste, no more vinegar at the bottom.

Witch Hazel is said to help itchiness on dogs. Dip paws in it or dab it on, pat dry excess off. You can put coconut oil in their food or give it straight. I put a spoonful in the peanut butter lid that I give give my dog PB in for her to lick it out of. Bonus: it helps to distract her from scratching for a couple of minutes.

Would itching at hot spots be related to tick eggs? I found two ticks on my doodle this week, no others yet, but wondering if the two could be related? Thank you.

If the itching is under thick fur, like my dog's front legs, do I shave it first? Or at least trim the fur?

Trimming or shaving the fur can help with treatment and monitoring, but do so carefully to avoid skin irritation.

Altered Minds , I put colloidal silver in my animals eyes for infections, that might help. Also, colloidal silver is one of my hubby’s top treatments for Stage IV cancer.

I have 5 toy poodles. One has very sensitive skin. I have tried every supposed non itch shampoo and she always ends up scratching, chewing and making herself bloody. I have to put a cone collar on for about a week, until her skin settles down. I did her first water only bath a week ago and she did not have a problem but she also did not get as clean either. Any suggestions? I can’t oil her whole body down and her walking around looking like a greasy girl.

Dr. Jones, is it possible that my dog had a reaction to pesticides from a soya bean field? We walk twice a day and on the farm we pass a soybean field with pesticides and she ran through it a few times and has been itching like mad.
