I need help with my Chihuahua. He has allergies and he has been on science diet since he was a pup and he is 7 yrs now and my vet won't take him off of it and I told her it makes his stomach hurt and his allergies get worse after eating. I need help with this. I love my sweet dog and I am disabled and it's hard for me. I wish veterinary secrets could help me.
The vets get very upset with you if you don't feed your cat the "Veterinary Diet' even after there's no crystals.. I told the vet the veterinary dry food made no sense if you were trying to get moisture into the diet. The can food has pork by product which Imo is crap. Worried cat maybe allergic to pork. Can order dl-methionine acidifier to add to raw food. My cat had a blockage at 1yr from holding it when got locked in a room without a litterbox. More spasm than crystals. Did great on a raw diet till 8yrs of age. Was pick up, ''scruffed'' without supported of his body weight of 16 lbs off a counter. Within days started having issues passing urine but not blocked. Vet said ''stress'' of being scruff. Was put on vet food, antibiotic, gabapentin, and Prazosin. Cat also started missing jumps then over a few wks progress to not being able to get up on low places.. Not landing on his feet when put down. No vet believes it was connected to a injury. Can't afford the 3k for a MRI and vet can't say. Maybe the trauma triggered a neuroinflammatory diseases? On steroid only now but still very ''dull'', other issues.
There is a Vet office near me that are about money more than they are the animals. I will never take my pet there again. They do so many unnecessary things. I was told by a new Vet at the clinic I take Remy too he has mild gingivitis and needs a cleaning and that the plaque off would not help. I could tell his breath smelled better taking it. His regular Vet retired and now these new Vets are in his clinic. I don't like her because she doesn't talk to me and then I get a big bill and estimated for a cleaning which is around 4 to 5 hundred $. What do you think about giving my cat Plaque off.. does it help or not?

Doctors that lose their license, many for grievous reasons, go to the VA system for a job because the VA issues their own medical license. And they delicensed you for holistics? Says alot.
Doc I'm seeing phenbendazole and fenbendazole, do you know what's the difference if any (Amazon)?
Peppermint oil in a spray bottle with water is what I use for fleas and ticks. They HATE IT‼️ just a quick spray on legs and underbelly, and your good to go‼️
