Resident evil remake is definitely a harder game than re4. Re4 was an action based game. Re remake is a lot of searching with monsters thrown in and scary music playing in the background. Find keys, open doors, search and repeat. That's basically the game in a nutshell.

That fuel canteen you got will help you store fuel so you can use on them dead bodies like it was mentioned on that note you picked up last episode. You have to look for places that stores fuel there are a few located around the Mansion you just have to look for them. Terrific gameplay though the remake is quite a challenging game even I got stuck on the collar puzzle with the fake key. I thought it was a coin didn't know that checking it will make it into a fake key lol and needed help from somebody didn't have youtube back then either we had to rely on online forums for information instead and printing them out or having to try and figure them out LOL those were the days...

Hey Lexonal Pablo another great gameplay always love seeing this game makes me want to revisit it again, have to say huge respect to you for playing on hardest difficulty straight off it most certainly is very challenging but I’m certain you will ace this as you progress through the game, it’s always a rocky start here as the game has introduced a new type of enemy known as the crimson head, you’ll probably have this from many people in here but try to make sure you always fill your fuel canteen with kerosene and have your lighter handy so you can burn the dead and prevent them from coming back in 2nd form, kerosene can be found throughout the game at certain points mainly in save room areas but random locations also, it’s usually like a big silver container but also there’s only enough for a few uses, I think you can use each one around 3 times for a refill, and can only hold 2 uses at a time in fuel canteen, so just be mindful there’s only a set number of times you can fill the canteen, also if there is 2 or multiple bodies next to each other you can use it in the middle of them potentially burning 2 or more for the price of 1 single use, taking heads off is key so don’t be afraid to aim that beauty up and fire away when there in the 1st form as with no head they don’t come back in 2nd form, also saving lighter kerosene uses, those guys don’t need burning, also if you use defence knife’s that is the only way to get them back is blasting there head off, this is good to save kerosene and recycle defence weapons, your top priority now is to burn them dudes you’ve been stacking up, otherwise your gonna be running around like an Olympic champion, keep up the amazing work dude I hope this helps out even if a little on you journey through this, I know you got what it takes, keep at it dude can’t wait for the next one⛱️

This game is super tough, and you are braving the hardest difficulty, so dropping a little hint to review the documents you’ve picked up. One of them might tell you how to prevent zombies from rising again once you’ve taken them out. I think if you do it before you get the armor key you’re “safe,” though I’m not entirely sure.

Good progress guys. When you examine a “mansion key” it will then tell you which emblem it is. Keep up the good work!

I know you arent the greatest fan of checking the map Lexonal, but in this game the map shows you if a room has been cleared or if there is still something to do (like a puzzle, missing item etc). In this case the room will be shown as red. With all the crimson heads around you are probably at the toughest section of the game now. The HP of crimson heads varies a LOT. They can die from 3 handgun bullets or it can take more than a magazine. Best way atm is to either run away or to aim up with the shotgun and hope its enough to blow their head off. With the new key you might want to find the rooms that will give you new ammo or a new weapon. This will help you out a lot. The fireplace in the room you lit is optional. 90% of the players dont seem to figure out what to do. Probably because the game falsely marks this map as '100% items'. You actually do have the item you need to use in that room already in your box.

A few words of advice, ditch the knife its pretty much useless and takes up inventory space. Keep checking the map, if you see rooms that are red on the map that means there are still items to be picked up in those rooms. Also the fuel canteen needs to be filled in order to burn the zombie bodies (need lighter as well), this prevents them coming back to life as Crimson Heads. You can refuel the canteen with those large grey fuel cans, they are usually found in save rooms, you can find another one in that outdoor area where you picked up the herbs and plant chemical where the dogs are. To stop zombies coming back to life full stop blow their heads off. I still recommend restarting the game on a lower difficulty as it only gets harder.

@@LexonalYou can burn the corpses too, that stops them turning into crimson red zombies. Also, if you headshot a zombie, they can't come back. I think the pistol will just randomly pull off headshots (aiming up doesn't help) but if you aim up with the shotgun you can take their heads off a lot of the time.

Woo! You're starting to learn things about this game, the Crimson Heads (the red zombies with the long nails) are a whole new stage... You'll learn a bit on what to do about those guys soon I think. They really are a pain! but that was a pretty fun way to end the episode haha. I'm still not sure how you're making it this far on a hard mode, but man hang in there! You're doing really good so far! Very good episode, sorry I missed the premiere! I hope you guys have a good two weeks and see you next time!

This isnt hard mode, its normal. You can tell by the save file colour. White is normal, green is easy and pink is very easy. The remake difficulties for a new game start are "normal = top, easy = middle and very easy = bottom" hard mode isn't a choice until you finish the game at least once (save file text will be red in hard mode) not to detract from lex's efforts, he's doing well, REmake is a whole different ball game compared to games released today.

@@Kaij- Yeah, I meant to say a 'harder' mode, but I see how it makes things confusing.

If I remember correctly if a zombie is lying face down you want to run by his feet to knife em cause you're going to be behind them when they stand up. And if they're face up it works by the head. You could always test it out on a zombie and load your save a few times. It's definitely harder on hard mode so it'll take some practice!

Just fyi, if you mash buttons it throws enemies off of you way faster when they grab you. You'll take less damage.
