I first played RE1 at a friends house back in 96 on the PS1, i was 15 years old. I remember my friend saying "Have you played Resident Evil before" i was like "No never heard of it". He just smiled and put the game in and i was blown away. When the original RE2 came out that blew me away even more and RE2 1998 is still my favourite game to this day. BTW those leg shots do work, they just take more than a couple of bullets to put them on the floor but whatever works for you its all good.

I played the first Resident Evil the year it came out, I had just bought a PlayStation. I didn't have money for a memory card, so every time I started the game again and played through it without a memory card :D

I played resident evil 1 in 1996. I was 16 and it blew me away! I still own the game, a ps1 and a crt tv to experience it how it was back then. I love it 😀

I loved your reactions to the 1st Licker encounter, Pablo: should we take a break? Lexonal: Yeah sure, I can guarantee you everyone had that same moment, when I first see that Licker, my brain went too should I take a break, and I was like most definitely yep, my game was paused on the map screen I had to make a coffee ☕️ 😅 anyways Lexonal, Pablo huge thanks again, can’t wait for the next episode guys 😎😎

hey lexonal u dont have to go into ur inventory every time to equip a gun, same goes for any handheld items like a grenade or knife. Theres a fast select option, im letting u know just in case.

Jurik did an amazing job on the thumbnail, he's a great guy! I don't have many plans for future games. What I do know is that we'll be playing RE3 & RE4 Remake after this game, as it seems to be the logical decision to make. But if that isn't the best call, I am more than happy to listen to what the fans would prefer.

A lot of the time, the older voice actors of Resi evil games, like the late Paul Haddad that voiced the first Leon Kennedy in resi 2, they spoke of how they had no idea they were IN these games because they had different names when they were worked on to keep them secret. Was that the same with your dad? Did you ever mention these games and hear him say 'wait I voiced that guy', or was it something you were always aware of? The tightening of the aiming retical doesn't really make a lot of difference, i think it increases chance of critical shot by a very small margin but not 100% sure. The zombies in this game take quite a lot of bullets to put down for good, you can also shoot them in the legs to slow them down and if they are on the floor shoot them in the face to finish them off, if they don't react when shooting them they are dead. On the plus side there are no Crimson Heads to contend with.

If you guys are ever interested in revisiting any of the games in the original trilogy, check out the amazing Seamless HD Project that does an incredible job of polishing the graphics on those games. They're basically free fan-made remasters.

Lexonal and Pablo, great episode! ❤This is a well made RE2 Remake, but it is also the hardest game I think. When I played RE3 Remake, it was much easier than this one. RE2 Remake like the original RE2 has four different scenarios. The scenario you are playing right now is “Leon A” scenario and when you finish it, “Claire B” scenario will be unlocked (it’s called Claire [2nd] here). If you play Claire A scenario, it will unlock Leon B scenario (Leon [2nd]). I want to also tell you about some easter eggs for this game. In the sewers, when you get the film called "Hiding Place", you can take it to the dark room / save room and develop it. Then you can go to the S.T.A.R.S. office and check Wesker’s desk. There you’ll get a Wooden Box (Red Dot Sight (Lightning Hawk) if playing Leon and High-Capacity Mag. (MQ-11) if playing Claire) and an extra film called "Rising Rookie" (requires checking twice). Then you can develop this extra film in the dark room / save room and you’ll get Rebecca’s photo. Also you can go to the press room and check the table with a radio transmitting set, this gives you x400 Fuel if playing Leon and x7 Needle Cartridges if playing Claire. Getting these items will also unlock the Treasure Hunter award and the in-game record of the same name.

Last episode got me thinking that you’re still got RE3 remake to play RE4remake RE5 RE awful 6 lol (just my opinion) RE7 RE8 😂 so many more story’s to get through. Do you have plans to play other games when you’ve completed the Rez franchise? And could possibly suggest Metal Gear Solid, I think you and your dad would love them. ✌🏻❤️🤙🏻
Jurik did an amazing job on the thumbnail, he's a great guy! I don't have many plans for future games. What I do know is that we'll be playing RE3 & RE4 Remake after this game, as it seems to be the logical decision to make. But if that isn't the best call, I am more than happy to listen to what the fans would prefer.
I think watching them play other classics like MGS, Silent Hill, or even something like N64 Zelda games or FF games or something would be super cool!
@@Lexonal I think RE7 and 8 would be more cool to see than 3/4 remake. 3 remake is good but they took out a lot of stuff and 4 is also good but it honestly is extremely similar to the original, mostly a graphical upgrade with a few mechanics changed or added.
@Zeldarulah I think he should definitely play 3 and 4 first though. I like 7 and 8 well enough, but they are entirely different games and almost feel like they're from a different franchise IMO.

A lot of the time, the older voice actors of Resi evil games, like the late Paul Haddad that voiced the first Leon Kennedy in resi 2, they spoke of how they had no idea they were IN these games because they had different names when they were worked on to keep them secret. Was that the same with your dad? Did you ever mention these games and hear him say 'wait I voiced that guy', or was it something you were always aware of? Great episode and great editing skills Lexonal! 👍🏻👍🏻 I've been inspired to reattempt a playthrough of this game myself, so we'll see how far I get. 😅 I'm glad you're both having a fun time with it so far. It is a challenging game but a beautiful one, I LOVE the way they redid the Station!
The tightening of the aiming retical doesn't really make a lot of difference, i think it increases chance of critical shot by a very small margin but not 100% sure. The zombies in this game take quite a lot of bullets to put down for good, you can also shoot them in the legs to slow them down and if they are on the floor shoot them in the face to finish them off, if they don't react when shooting them they are dead. On the plus side there are no Crimson Heads to contend with.
If you guys are ever interested in revisiting any of the games in the original trilogy, check out the amazing Seamless HD Project that does an incredible job of polishing the graphics on those games. They're basically free fan-made remasters.
Lexonal and Pablo, great episode! ❤This is a well made RE2 Remake, but it is also the hardest game I think. When I played RE3 Remake, it was much easier than this one. RE2 Remake like the original RE2 has four different scenarios. The scenario you are playing right now is “Leon A” scenario and when you finish it, “Claire B” scenario will be unlocked (it’s called Claire [2nd] here). If you play Claire A scenario, it will unlock Leon B scenario (Leon [2nd]). I want to also tell you about some easter eggs for this game. In the sewers, when you get the film called "Hiding Place", you can take it to the dark room / save room and develop it. Then you can go to the S.T.A.R.S. office and check Wesker’s desk. There you’ll get a Wooden Box (Red Dot Sight (Lightning Hawk) if playing Leon and High-Capacity Mag. (MQ-11) if playing Claire) and an extra film called "Rising Rookie" (requires checking twice). Then you can develop this extra film in the dark room / save room and you’ll get Rebecca’s photo. Also you can go to the press room and check the table with a radio transmitting set, this gives you x400 Fuel if playing Leon and x7 Needle Cartridges if playing Claire. Getting these items will also unlock the Treasure Hunter award and the in-game record of the same name.
