Yet another amazing interview with Bey. He is still so full of enthusiasm after all these years. He was the best person to find the missing Game of Death footage One can only imagine his excitement. When I first saw it at the Robert Lee convention, the nearest thing I can describe is Corporal Jones from Dad's Army saying, "Don't panic." (Look on KZread for example). The convention was back in 2001 and we were not allowed to take photos during the showing of the films. I did take a few photos of Robert from a distance, and Steve is sitting at the end of the table. Steve was allowed to and kindly sent photos of really great day. Looking forward to part three,😁🙏🐉

Hi Charles, Fantastic Episode with the One and Only Bey Logan. I wanted to say that Robert Lee and Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Dan Inosanto has home videos of Bruce Lee but they can't show it because of the Bruce Lee estate. Robert Lee has Bruce Lee and Samo practicing for there fight in Enter the Dragon and Dan Inosanto has footage of Game of death and Kareem Abdul Jabbar has video of Bruce Lee and himself training. I'm good friends with Robert and will be seeing him soon. He certainly does not have footage that he is prevented from sharing because of the Estate. Or, if he has, he is keeping it secret from me! I also doubt that Dan has such footage. But I was the guy who thought the 'log' footage was lost forever, so who knows? 😆

@firefury: what you told is right. Fist of Fury is an excellent movie in which several talents of Bruce Lee exposed in several magnitudes. The story is also meaningful. Bruce Lee as a disciple revenged the death of his lovely teacher. The movie was released nearly two years prior to the release of ETD.

Thank you for this interview.🙌🏽 Bey Logan always affable to share his experience.🙏🏽 Little info: from 1974 to 1984 all Bruce Lee films (apart from ETD) were shown in continuation in a cinema in Paris on "Hollywood Boulevard" owned by the French distributor René Château, the latter had completely re-edited the films, Big Boss and FOF were shortened, in The Way of the Dragon, Uncle Wang's plot has been cut, so he remains a good guy and Jimmy, Tony, Thomas are not murdered (the farewell scene in a cemetery remains inexplicable, however). In GOD, There is no pasted cardboard face, Ann is not committed to a hospital and there is no clay mannequin of Dr. Lang. These versions were broadcast on French-speaking television at the time and released on VHS. Is Bey aware of these versions? Thanks again for the good work.

@@TheBeylogan Yep, those were my versions of Bruce's films for years until the DVD came out. little additional info: René Chateau was also Jean Paul Belmondo producer of his action movie era and the distributor of numerous Wu xia pan and "Kung fu" films including early Jacky's, Samo's and of course Brucexploitation, I know that he facilitate to Dick Randall filming Bruce LE "Eye of the Dragon" aka "Xiong zhong" in Paris...it was an event for parisians back then ! During the shooting, Many believed that it was the real Bruce Lee 😁 !what a horrible film 🤣. Wow..What an honor to have a chat with Mr. Bey Logan 🙏🏽😌. Thank you.

Just so good.. can listen to this all day long. I was a 12 yr old when I saw GOD in the theater run and remember it was going to come out when they were making it. I was always more fascinated with the outside footage almost obsessed wanting to see that after seeing how Bruce looked in the photos only to realize that footage was never found or held by the big moguls in China. Does is exist? Also in ETD where you see Bruce getting punched. Were they doing some other film testing of another story? I always heard the story that existed an interview with Bruce on the set of ETD that was filmed? Probably folk lure on that also.

Legendary as always Charles Fist of Fury was that definitive movie that had a political stance as in terms of the push back against the Japanese occupation in China at that time as well as great action the Masters philosophies on adaptation not just in fighting but in life in general to study learn to infiltrate to adapt to succeed and once again such great men have now become a rare thing and are severely needed in today's Times severely Pinnacle of greatness how to have great respect for once Heritage and culture I like the original other three films that are real legendary through and through be well & keep the legend alive 👊🐉

Surprisingly “THE GOD”, would have been an ingredient to Bruce Lee future blue print of spiritual enlightenment film, just like karishmuta teaching on enlightenment/ self discovery. Bruce would have certainly needed the backing of a major label to bring his game of death film into existence.

Raymond was Bruce Lee's producer on all the Hong Kong films he starred in. Bruce was the director on the 'Game of Death' footage.

The theory is, the extra footage of Bruce Lee is in private collections

That about sums it up some private collectors, possibly have the footage and is keeping it for themselves. There is definitely no more film material. Most of it was thrown away when Golden Harvest was cleared. There used to be. For reasons that are incomprehensible, much of it has not reached the new rights holder.

Bruce Lee's second movie was called Chinese Connection. What it was titled in Hong Kong is irrelevant. We don't call Enter the Dragon by its original name, Blood and Steel. Why? The marketing department makes that decision and whatever the movie is officially released as is the movie's name. Stop adding confusion to this situation.

It should be officially recognised that Bruce Lee co-wrote and co-directed ETD. Bruce changed the script and the direction of the film. Bob Wall said Clouse was a lousy director and it was Bruce who really directed it. You can see how uninterested Clouse looks in the behind the scenes stills. It was interesting and disgusting that Logan said that Raymond Chow didn't like the yellow jumpsuit. That is a real betrayal of a friend who had passed away. Chow wanted to keep some of the original G.O.D footage to make another film to make more money.

Random question, but is there any truth to the story that Bruce voiced the character in WOTD that had the “Chinese spare ribs” line? It’s mentioned in Matthew Polly’s book but every language I’ve watched the film in, the character sounds nothing like Bruce doing an impression.

Bey Logan in another interview said he heard that talk show was asked to erase all revious filme footage to free up space but he does believe that there is someone out there that has a copy of the interview but is holding it all for themselves and maybe for the right price will release it.
