I was doing TRT and finasteride and after about 3 or 4 weeks my heart was severely missing beats and for long periods of time, especially when lying down, I stopped the finasteride and the problem stopped. In my mind I thought the two where fighting against each other, after this explanation I guess not. Anybody else experience this?

What about side effects like low libido and penile shrinkage and acne?? Is finasteride or dutasteride better?

Many other things could’ve contributed to what you described, depression, diabetes, cholesterol, or blood pressure issues. Never heard of penis shrinkage

@@Northdallasguy00 As far as i`m concerned i just have no desire to fuck and before i always used to think about sex. Now i`m on trt and i have also heard about masturabation to help keep your nuts working.I don`t know what to do , keep the hair or sex drive.

@@Northdallasguy00 Same I've watched over 50 videos on finasteride from dermatologists and I have NEVER once heard of penile shrinking. The dude's on crack man.

If you’re already taking 1mg of finasteride daily, should you add another 5mg a week when going on hrt ?

raising the dose on finasteride would not help your hairloss. if you want a heavier form of treatment consider adding 0.5mg of dutasteride per week to your regimen.

Hi I’m 35 years old male and I’ve been taking 3mg of Finasteride every week. My blood tests before starting Finasteride showed I had low Estrogen, low Prolactin, lower end SHBG and Testosterone was within normal range. I do workout 4 days a week and wanted to find out if from 3mg of Finasteride a week can I get Gyno ?

Gyno is a very rare side effect so unlikely. Usually gyno is seen in men with high body fat and estrogen. So you’re probably okay. Taking an aspirin a day can help keep estrogen low too.

I always gyno anyways and might get surgery to remove it sometime in the future anyways. Finasteride has done wonders for me and I wish I had started it ten years prior to when I did. I would still have all of my hair instead of most of it.

Hi, you are saying testosterone increases on finasteride because less dht is created. If this is the case then why does libido and sex drive crash. Doesn’t higher testosterone mean more sex drive? Thanks for your help!

But it doesn't. Do you actually take Finasteride. Watch the 'Haircafe' videos. It's a myth, unless you are one of the few that get side effects, even then, it's a myth.

They think it can by increasing estrogen, and it does that by increasing your free testosterone since some of it isn't binding to the dht receptor. Something like that lol look into increased estrogen on fin

@@coryburnett9470 I have been on Finasteride for over three months with ZERO side effects. As has many other men who take it everyday. There is so much misinformation and fear mongering with Finasteride it is rather alarming.

Ok total T goes up but free T goes down becaues of SBHG goes also up and it binds to free T. Since total T goes up and You block DHT the estrogen might also be rised due to aromataze. This is why people have issues when taking fin...

I've had a harder time putting on muscle in the gym since starting finesteride. I also tire out quicker in my workouts. I wonder if finesteride is playing a role.

@@vincewarren1271 I had the same problem. No matter how hard I would try to bulk up i would stay the same weight. Also lost strength, drive/motivation. Stopped taking it & gained 10lbs the first month. It lowers DHT, and dht plays a huge role in muscle building i've found.

If you have already growth a beard , no but if you haven't it will just slow the growth a little bit, but again it does have anything bad

As long as the testosterone to estrogen ratio is correct then you'll be OK.

@@Northdallasguy00 lol - ok - i was told by my doctor with a “degree” finasteride was safe - i took me 4 years off to rebalance my t levels - are you one of thoese geniuses that thinks everything the guy with the “degree” is somehow all knowing? how many people have died and had major medical issues from “safe fda approved” meds?

The only thing i`m afraid is that if i stop taking finisteride then ill lose my hair.Any advice bro?
