There's no practical use for it aside from doing exactly what they are doing. Its probably expensive to make and its a world of liability claims. Lol! I can just see some 10 year old getting his head cut off because a metal shield flew at his head. And in real world applications, magnet cling only works with two attractive surfaces so it limits a lot. I tried putting a few Rare Earth magnets in a leather holster to keep a hammer or hatchet easier to access in the woods. I was constantly having to manage my hatchet and ended up just lashing it to the holster. Then I forgot and got near my truck and the hatchet and holster immediately latched to it.

Great project, very cool. With that said, I would have used a welding type magnet with a switchable magnetic field and added a little servo motor to turn the handle. Put about 6 of them together to make the same rig with no need for batteries and unlimited life.

I remember back in the day watching this and wanting one of my own got my vids and just for fun and I kinda still do! But hacksmith just remember that you will always be a legend and I hope to grow a large fan-base just like you man! 🔥

If you did exercise and worked on strength and speed for a few years, maybe even make the shield out of something even a bullet cant break. You could be a real life superhero, pretty sure if you hit someone with that shield itd be like getting an anvil thrown on you from 5 feet in the air.

...that would be if the accords was signed. But the even gers existed before the accords which would make them "woring" for the goverment. But as before they are "freelance" agents. If they were working for the goverment. We won't hear about it and only come out as Hostage taking thwarted by the governments special forces. As the Government would claim the credits not the individual persons in it. Anyone hear or remember any name of a fireman saving a family from a burning building? Anyone remember or know who found a despot rulers corpse in a bunker in WW2? Nope. Real world comes with real World rules. Fun as it may. Can't really expect angels and gods to save us. As the maker of the shield does, it is up to us to make our own heroes. Not expect them coming from somewhere. We are the heroes. Being able to be a friend is sometimes enough to be called a hero.
