That's such a pain. Them starter clutches put me of them bikes completely.

Compared to the bike at the back, it is definitely a crunchy starting sound. Pull it apart & start again 😉😎🤙 Nat, you love it! It’s in your blood ❤️

Try pulling the plugs out and the motor will spin quicker and it might get the rollers in the clutch to rotate

Have you joined the Facebook owners group? They may be able to help or at least improve the chances of a sale....I'll ask a friend, but yeah, sounds starter clutch . Frustrating to say the least !!!

Primary chain. And oiling system is fucking problems with this bike. 81 xj650 seca had this problem

I don't think anyone can blame you if you decide to sell and move on, knowing the fix and what it entails..... "Frustrating" just doesn't cover it!!!!!!
