Do you remember Manswers? If so, you know how insane it was; but if you've never seen the show...buckle up. I watched this show a lot when I was younger, and I still think about it pretty often because of how crazy it was, so I figured I would take a trip down memory lane to see if the Spike TV sensation "Manswers" really was as insane as I remember it to be.

I remember watching this and 1000 ways to die all the time, I definitely got a lot of misogynist humor from it. I think a turning point was when I was in driving class at 16 and I made like 50 jokes about women drivers and someone just went "bro you've got issues with women," and everyone, including the girls, all kind of nodded and murmured in agreement. I kinda thought everyone was in on the joke but it kind of woke me up to how unfunny it was.

I totally get you. How old are you? Cause younger Millennials and older Gen Zs usually went through a lot of that. We grew up with the early days of internet and some weird days on TV, comedy being dominated by misogynistic dudes making gross jokes, and that’s what we were told is supposed to be funny. I remember not even understanding the appeal of this kind of humor, but reproducing it anyways because since adults were doing it, it seemed cool and right. Only after I embarrassed myself a couple times I realized not everything adults enjoy is funny and cool.

I came across this when I was like 8 years old and the only question I remember from it was "what do men like more: boobs or butts?", the answer being butts. Being 8, I thought this was hilarious and told all my friends about it at school. That same year, my brother (he was 17 at the time), had some friends over and they were talking about girls and my bro said he didn't like big boobs because they "get in the way". So I genuinely thought that dudes didn't like boobs but pretended to love them. Turns out, I was just gay
