My preference is definitely a mister. My three boys are thriving with an automatic mister but still have a few spray bottles on standby in case the electronic timer goes wonky.

I live in west texas and use a fogger and mist king system. fog looks rlly cool at night even if i dont need it lol, humidity levels stay consistent tho

I liked to use both

A lot of keepers will using fishing line to attach the fogger hose to the frame of the screen enclosure.

Hello, please tell me, I live in California and recently got a chameleon, but during the day it is very dry here and the humidity drops to 20-30%, how can I deal with this? I can't always be at home and monitor the humidity

Hi! My chameleon appears to have white blotches on his casque with black dots on them, and its been like that for about a month probably. I was wondering if that is something I should be worried about

if it's been like that for a month then that's something that should be checked out. without knowing exactly what it looks like it's hard to say but a vet opinion is the besy

I know u use a brits water filter. can i use a PUR water filter, do they do the same thing

I'm not familiar with PUR water filters but if it's similar, it should be fine.

What do you use to catch the water? And how do you stop everything outside the cage from getting wet?

What I use is just a regular shower curtain and some double sided tape and the excess I just kind of folded under the bottom of the cage

No, they don’t need any lights at all at night. As a matter of fact they need complete darkness at night.

It’s a higher quality mister which means it will likely last longer (I’ve had my MistKing for almost 6 years) and it allows for customizable times which is handy for chameleons that have very specific misting schedules!

I ordered my mist king and fogger on Amazon a week ago and hasn’t even been shipped 😔

Those dots are just part of his natural coloring. Noting to be concerned about :)
