Dodge stranded in the snow, Jeep on tracks to the rescue!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This truck had been stuck in the snow for 4 days and they made multiple attempts to get it, but kept getting stuck again so they gave up. I took the tracked Jeep up and figured it would be a good test run of the repairs since the whole job would keep me within walkable distance of the main road. Everything went good, and with the @MattsOffRoadRecovery @YankumRopes I was able to get her out and spun around so she could head down the hill

I know that getting the customer to film is probably the only option, but I love that some of the past few rescues have been shot by kids and that you give them credit. Probably makes the situation fun for them because they get involved. Good stuff!
I for one am grateful that people go out in the woods in deep snow with bald tires on heavy vehicles, otherwise we wouldn't get all of this great footage.

better out in the woods with bald tired = great videos for us, than on the roads and crashing into someone else doing life altering stuff.
Casey, you are an absolute legend. Still, even you are not immune to human error while navigating slippery , icy terrain while holding a camera and looking for a lake view down a steep slope! Careful Casey, we and the mediocre drivers of the cascades need you to not be hospitalized!
It's the little things. You've got to take a minute and appreciate the beauty mother earth has provided.
Min 8:23 Best office in the world!!! Best audience of the world. GR8 Jeep attitude.
Went to school in Coos Bay. Spent most of my time in the mountains exploring logging roads and trails with just a VW bug and good tires. Now in Utah so keep posting more of that Oregon green I come to miss so much. 👍👍👍
“ Best office in the world”. Great line.
My uncle lived in Sisters back in the 60's. I remember that the forest roads seemed to have many more straight sections than forest roads in the Sierras where we had a mountain cabin we spent our summers in. I spent a year at Oregon State and hitch hiked out to Santiam Pass on Easter weekend 1968. I had a great down sleeping bag and slept on top of the snow with a poncho as a ground cloth. It was 8° F that night but I slept warm.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful view. Hope you are ok.
2.11.22 Nice rescue video. I like your track jeep. Thanks for helping
Wow some of these kids do an amazing job with your video camera! Thumbs up JACK!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't had internet for a bit and I'm so stoked to get caught up on all these episodes!!
And another outstanding rescue by Casey. You are right, people just doing things to have fun without thinking it all the way through. I have done it, we all have, kinda what being a human is all about. Thank you for being such an Awesome human Casey. Peace.
Another rescue Casey I love the amazing scenery there I think having people record is a smart idea
You do have the Best office with spectacular views!👍😎 Beautiful lake too!😊 Awesome recovery. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there! ❤️🙏
Best office ever. Understatement of the day. Another great video. Thanks!
I'm hooked on your channel. Trying to get caught up on your videos. Love your positive attitude. You do a great job filming and getting people back on the road.
That Jeep is boss! I never see you charge people. Just wondered. Looks like u love your job, and beautiful scenery! Ty. Lol, sure hope your elbows ok!! 👍🙏😆
Another awesome recovery, I’m glad you still have the track Jeep for these I think it’s your best asset for these recoveries, after spending 27 years living in Central Point Oregon and spending every opportunity to be in the woods or on a lake fishing I’m enjoying your videos and the work you’re doing so please keep it up. I have also spent my fair share of time working in the woods on logging helicopters, your wooded office is incredible as was mine.
Good morning Casey😁 I like after you get up there you ask "did you bring the keys?" Haha That Dodge did look heavy and low for the snow but you had a great point. We all go out in it to have fun👍 I hope your elbow ended up ok. Back in 1998 I was running and playing tag with my son and the kids I was babysitting and I turned to see how close they were to catching up to me and I tripped over the porch step falling forward and reached out with both arms extended to break my fall. My right elbow felt cold for a couple hours which I thought was weird so I thought I would go get an x-ray. Yep I cracked a bone. Be careful because you never know and you are a recovery specialist, not a stunt man😄 Another fantastic video Casey- Have a great day everybody💙
Nice recovery! I'm glad you got the Treep(?) Jax(?) sorted out without it being anything major. I hope your elbow is OK.... You gotta watch that Grabity, it is helpful most of the time, but every now and then, it makes the ground come up and hit you at the most random and inconvenient times.
That was probably the most quiet Casey LaDelle video I've ever seen! I think they may have been a little shy ;) Thanks for taking us on the hike, the view at the end was a great touch.
Those tracks are awesome. Just order a set for my General. I'm glad I'm not the only that falls down. I have fallen on my ass this winter more times than any other ones.
The JEEP sounds great. I’m glad the needed repair wasn’t complex. Good job getting that truck turned around and back to pavement. It’s always helpful when the vehicle has recovery points. I liked that you used both recovery points on the front. That’s how I was taught in formal rigging training. Thanks for taking the time to share some footage of the lake. Awesome office view.
Love watching you get someone out for sure ... but the mini hike to see the lake ... well, that's the cherry on top. Take care of that elbow.
I had no idea you could run the tracks on pavement. That makes it even better.
Love her look when you turned the camera to her lol. Also like that your letting people run your cam for you .
Nice video. I enjoy watching someone that is close to where I live doing recoveries in the same terrain that I drive in.
Nice to go sightseeing! But not on bald tires! Good test for the jeep too!
Once again you done real good ❤well done. God bless
Once again your somebody's hero it's amazing how fuel pressure makes a new vehicle so now more fun with the track jeep. God bless you again Casey and as always be safe 👍
Thanks. Good show.
What's going to be funny is if your mileage gets better, now that the fuel system is working correctly. Now what is funny, is I have used the stick under the tire several different times to get unstuck, but there is usually some shovel (Or floor matts and hands when I forget the darn shovel) work involved as well.
You are a wholesome person, hope you didn't hurt yourself on the fall. Recap hike earned a sub from me, good recovery!
Casey I think when you were pulling her backwards she was spinning the rear wheel forward lol. Glad you got the jeep fixed. That jeep does a great job. Enjoyed the show and keep em coming.

Always amazes me that people get stuck, dig themselves out and go deeper into the snow. Then when they get really stuck they are surprised!!!
Wow lake is so beautiful. Hope you are ok.
Very nice office for sure Casey. Beautiful lake view. Glad you are happy with the jeep repair. Always nice to see you helping people.
Thank You again Casey, love the recovery! Every recovery is so different from the other. So glad that the Jeep is running better than it ever has. I was surprised how quick you were up to speed on the pavement, snow ❄ too, but that's expected. 🙂 Casey, l hope your arm? Elbow is okay? So easy to break things when suddenly on your way down at a hi rate of speed after slipping. Still you have the greatest office like you said, and the lake was a bonus, thanks for caring!! ✌🏻💕👌👍👋❄⛄🇨🇦 😎.

Nice job as always, Casey. I like the way you interact with your customers as well. It's how I did business with my customers for over 30 years as a mechanic, and a substantial portion of those customers from my early years, told their kids to bring their cars to me for service, and towards the end, I often had 3 generations of families as customers, many of whom became my friends! I'm betting that a lot of your work comes from personal referrals!!! 😊👍
Another job gone well!!!! You are one nice person Casey. Love the tracks on your jeep, glad you got the fuel changed and it runs better. Thanks for sharing.☺️☺️☺️👍👍👍👍
You are really going to love your feet when you learn how to use them LOL!!! Damn those slippery dead trees, they shouldn't be out in the middle of the forest where people are trying to walk:) Thanks for another great video Casey, see you on the next one.
Another Day in the Life … and Whatta Life. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad the jeep is better. Nothing worse than a Jeep with the pouties. :D Things are looking up!
Best office is right. I'm jealous.
And away they go!
I like how you explain what you’re doing and how the person got stuck
Thanks.
Hey Casey glad to see the jeep is fixed great video as always thanks your friend Rocco from Connecticut
Your office view is definitely much better than the view from my office of the crack den and expressway across the street lol.
I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself to bad, I've been in her position taking my HQ panal van through some sandy tracks ended up in a bowl I couldn't get out of when my cousin farmer freind came to drag me out he asked how I got there all the best
🇬🇧 As a rural Brit, declare I've never driven on "pavement"! Most of those here would be non-existent or too narrow but it would also be illegal...🤗
I'm happy to see the Jeep is up and running and it was only a minor problem that's good news I am curious about an update about the veteran
Great job. Thanks for the video

Really Like the channel and everything you do for people.
At least the Camp Tamarack care keeps the dark lake open. That area has less snow then I have seen in years. At least up there if you had to walk out there is lots of places near by to call help from.
Best office, with the best view 😁
The floor mat trick can work. I used the floor mats to extricate myself from a dirt road that was frozen solid when I went out and was a muddy mess when I came back. It was slow but it worked.
Well that was fun. Great to see the Jeep has done well. Hope the elbow is ok and the scenery was breathtaking….bonus! ❤️🇦🇺🇺🇸
Have you ever done a video “tour” of you Jeep? Aside from the tracks, what else is different functionally/mechanically from a stock version? Lift, axles, diffs, etc.

Well done.... Bravo...
Man down. I hope you’re OK be careful
This is cool! It’s so great to watch you help people out of a stuck situation. It also makes me feel smart that when watching the videos I have a similar thought process for extracting the stuck vehicle. Cheers Casey!!

Great videos. Your a very nice upbeat guy
I stepped on a log while hiking with my two dogs and I landed on my shoulder also. Lucky we didn’t hit our heads. I was sore for a week and was ok. I’m was a wet log also and I never expected it to be that slippery.
Nice. You're a good dude
That "still love the woods tho" comment really got me!
Another awesome recovery Casey sucks that you fell but s*** happens glad you didn't get hurt nice view of the river keep recording I'll keep watching
Short and sweet job. Good to hear the Jeep wasn't too difficult repair. Cheers!
After watching some of the maintenance headaches some of the other guys are having with their snowcats, It looks like you made the right move to go with these jeep tracks. At least you are having "normal" problems like a bad fuel pump. And you can just put the wheels back on the jeep when the snow melts.
Wow. Loved seeing the recovery and especially Suttle Lake Last time I was there was 1964! Such a beautiful area.
Looks like the snow scrapers modifications worked.... Thanks for sharing the adventures...
the jeep certainly sounds good.thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
You'er a Busy boy Casey so thank you for all the great videos!
A beautiful place to operate. Pleased the jeep was good. It looks impressive whizzing around in the snow.
Your having way to much fun......!
Cool video Casey
Great rescue in spite of that lady not realizing that even when being towed you still have to turn the wheels. And I hope you advised to refrain from driving in the snow til she figures out what she's doing. Or gave her some tips at the very least.
That was brill

cant learn from your mistakes if you dont get out and make a fist full of them, unless you have someone in your life the explains situations of life because they've made them. most still have to learn the hard way. i do and thats what makes life fun and makes the lesson sink in

Really, she shouldn't drive a car at this conditions. Steering throttle and brake, all wrong. People buy a pickup thinking: It's a huge car, I can drive with this to every place I want. Wrong, totally wrong With my old tiny beetle I wouldn't got stuck under this conditions

@@shaunadams3170 Shaun, was not being critical of the lady. Ask my wife about my proclivity for risk taking! Fortunately she didn't get into serious trouble. But, that doesn't change the fact that she got into trouble because she was clueless about the hazards. Anyone involved in search & rescue has to have Casey's attitude, because there is a constant stream of new clueless people learning the hard way. Fortunately for those who do get in over their head, there are the Caseys in the world who are willing to risk their lives and equipment to come to the rescue, and do it with a smile & a laugh.

Lol if it wasn't for crazy people going up in the woods and having a good time you wouldn't have a job that was a pretty nice lake thanks for taking us to look at it looks like you're going to have to start wearing elbow pads and knee pads and feet covers glad to see you didn't get hurt this time well even if you did you wouldn't tell us look at what happened with your foot LOL at least you're okay keep up the great videos that's one thing I like about your videos you keep it real the good with the bad have a great day
Perfect recovery! Sweet and easy! Great area to work for sure! See you on the next one. Glad the jeep is fixed.
It just shows that proper vehicle maintenance and safety inspections (in both cases) are crucial when venturing offroad in adverse weather conditions. We've all been there and stuff breaks. It's nice to know that you're out there, Casey. A lot of folks rely on your service, your skills and your good will. If I ever get out that way with the Taco (I'm in Eastern PA), I'll be sure to give you a hollar if I get it stuck.
Hey Casey !!! Guessing that you ain't the only 1 with MOPAR issues like that !! Great recovery & WATCH YOUR STEP !!

Another great video Casey. We've been to Shuttle Lake several times and stayed at the Lodge. Haven't been up there in the winter but probably should do it for the beauty.
Happy for you that you got the jeep back on the job. Even better than it was before is always nice. Hope you didn't injure your elbow to badly. That is a very pretty view of the lake and woods. Thanks for what you do for everyone.
