Few years later there was a lot of rumors that Mobil was not telling how much Zinc DDP they were putting in their oil so everyone believed it was lower than before. So I stopped using Mobil1 and went Valvoline VR1 racing which says on the bottle high Zinc. • @AlexAutoFun

    @AlexAutoFun

    Hi Gun Precisions! That's odd, if the starter and starter solenoid are new then it could only be the ring gear on the flywheel, maybe missing some teeth. If the starter does not turn at all, it may also be your starter relay and on rare occasions is the actual PCM, the wiring can somethings become faulty and not activate the starter. Hope this helps and please let us know what you find!

  • @AlexAutoFun

    @AlexAutoFun

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Vincent! Yep the fork won't stay if you do not have a pivot ball or some other point for the fork to pivot against. Your pivot ball maybe missing, broken or damaged. I can think of two reasons why it may not be there: it was not installed by the previous person installing the tranny (but this would cause some serious driving issues since the fork won't pivot correctly) or the previous person working on the tranny modified it (I'm assuming you are still running the T850) and the transmission will have to be restored to normal to use a pivot ball. Hope this helps and please let us know what you find bud!

    Hi Marquidoes! Sometimes it goes in right away but others it requires some patience and trial and error. Eventually it pops into place. The key is not to try to force it together (do not attempt to force it to pop in by bringing both the block and the tranny together with the bolts, it's tempting but I would avoid it), after some wiggling the input shaft eventually engages the transmission and will slide in fairly easy. Hola Liliana! ah si e pensado en eso, el año pasado hice una encuesta en el Canal para ver si hay interes in traduccir (doblar) todos estos videos a Espanol pero muy poca gente contesto "Si" Yo creo que es buen tiempo para hacer la encuesta otra vez haver si hay mas interes esta vez. Saludos desde California!

    Hi Marisol! There is a good chance a tune up may help to resolve the power issue. Sometimes old spark plugs or old spark plug cables can do that, if those two are ok then the next thing I would check would be the coil pack...

    The transmission really just drops like that? I had a hard time when I removed mine last year.

    Hi 1221Ralph! I done this some many times now it slides right out lol but what always take me longer is to re-install it and having the splines line up it's kind of tricky..

    I usually take oil pan off the engine and remove the clutch like a torque converter it makes it much easier to reinstall

    @@Elcapitanmaster my problem was the car wasn't jacked up enough. Dropped the trans late last year again and it was easier with the car jacked higher.

    Hi Voltz! yep, that usually is the step that takes me the longest, sounds easy but man it requires patience, with limited visibility of the splines going into clutch and the tight spot is really a lot of trial and error...
