The Dodge Demon is a drag racing beast, purpose-built for dominating the quarter-mile. It boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine that roars with an impressive 808 horsepower (or 840 hp with the optional Demon Crate) and a massive 770 lb-ft of torque. This power, coupled with its specialized drag racing features, allows the Demon to launch from 0 to 60 mph in an astonishing 2.3 seconds. It can tear down the quarter-mile in just 9.65 seconds at a blistering 140 mph, setting records and leaving competitors in the dust. With its Drag Mode, TransBrake system, and drag radial tires, the Demon is not just a car; it’s a drag racing phenomenon, designed to dominate the straight line like no other.
The Dodge Challenger Hellcat, on the other hand, is a different kind of beast. It’s powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine found in the Demon, but it’s tuned to deliver 717 horsepower and 656 lb-ft of torque. While not as specialized for drag racing as the Demon, the Hellcat is no slouch. It can still sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a hair-raising 3.6 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in around 11.7 seconds at 125 mph (for the Redeye variant). The Hellcat is more of a street-legal rocket, offering incredible acceleration and power that’s exhilarating on the road and impressive on the track.

Really appreciate you posting videos of my ride. I have to say how hard it is not to respond to some of the really ignorant comments. But I will just say this….when I go to the track and there are roughly 100 or 150 cars running, maybe 6 or 7 cars are running 9’s or better. Most of the other cars are like 11 or 12’s, yet if you read some of these comments you would think everyone is running low 9’s or 8’s. It is too bad people just can’t appreciate good running cars regardless of brand.

It’s tough not to get into those battles because it’s always a waste of time. And to your point most if not all could not even afford a 10 year old Prius
