@@YourAverageCarFan the purple 170 didn’t spin the tires. You don’t pull the front tires 3 ft off the ground while spinning your tires. I’ve got the time slip and that 170 pulled a 1.27 sixty foot so again he didn’t spin the tires.

@@YourAverageCarFan he never let off the gas, there is no way he runs a 9.22 letting off the gas because he is spinning. I was the guy in the yellow Demon running him and his times are very consistent with what a Demon 170 runs normally. Again I have the time slip and can see his 60 foot and 1/8 mile time and speed which are consistent with typical 170 times. He was also one of the quicker 170’s at the event.

I love how as the light hit the 170 it reflected back the yellow eye of the demon 🔥

Doug Redecopp did an 8.75 in his modded Demon at Mission Raceway in 2021.

All that horsepower for a .12 sec difference is crazy. That thing spins out like crazy. Cannot grip well even with slicks

My boss used to have a yellow demon he sold it before I came to the company which is unfortunate but I hear it was a beast

I like how it took this long for Dodge to make their own 1000+ HP Demon build.

The 170 actually lost a bit of ground coming out the gate. That front wheel lift is good for show you can see how the regular demon how he has it setup came off the line flawlessly even though the 170 reeled him in on the top end

Dodge missed an opportunity not giving the Demon or Demon 170 a manual transmission option. I guess it’s faster with the ZF8, but you’re not even racing the car yourself. You’re letting all the tech get the fastest times while you sit there, stomp your foot to the ground, and try and look cool. Sick cars, but they need a manual.

Seems everyone wants to poo, poo the electric Mopar's coming out. If you're into drag racing that is exactly what you want. *Instant torque* is what you want/need when it comes the 1320. If you don't understand what torque is and what it does when drag racing then pick another automotive sport to watch or participate in. 'cause you be lost, lol!

These are all also aftermarket parts built up. Gt500 has been proven to beat the Demon stock on stock. Anyway my Formula beat both. All done is slightly bigger Cam.
