@@andreassaridis7062 it can, but it is just 4.2 with 450hp is impressive, anything more the car wouldnt last as long. I have this car for 6 years, safe to say it was built to be a GT unlike the other two that was build for straight line speed.

@@arelaththewhitewolf230 All rwd AMG's hook well, the traction control system send the exact amount of power to the rear wheels on launch. It limit a lot of power. Turn off traction control and it still hook well.

@@kei1880 100%! if I want to be pedantic a f80 m4 or even a g80 m340i with a slight tune would absolutely destroy all 3 of these cars, but do I care? Nope! Nothing beats the sound and feel of a natural aspirated high revving v8; And that’s besides the fact that the rs5 aged better, is more comfortable, actually useable in inclement weather and surprisingly more reliable than the merc!

Had a 2016 scat pack and now own a 2013 RS5. The RS5 is such an engaging car. Definition of a money pit, but brilliant none the less.

When the RS5 pulls up to the line it really puts into perspective how great that car looks, and how bad the new ones look in comparison.

just got a 2011 C63 amg the other day and ill just say its insane and sounds perfect, hands down my favorite sounding v8 of all time.

That video was just in time, right after MB announced the C63 is getting a HP 2.0T 4cyl PHEV powertrain. The specs are rediculous, but RIP V8. 😭

So now dodge is murdering their Hemis because of the fed’s pressure, chevy is trashing the Camaro in favor of a 2 door electric sedan, audi is planning to become all electric in this decade, and BMW is erasing every V8 from their 5 series lineup. Ford at least made a great attempt at keeping the Coyote alive with the S650 Mustang GT and the “Dark Horse”, and honestly i want one in the future, but only time will tell how long that’ll last. Ima hate this new silent future with a passion forever man. Fuck these glorified power wheels man, i hate this shit 😭

RS5 Looks the best and had the most outrageous sound!!

Would have expected the RS5 with AWD and launch control to have a stronger dig showing. I think the Merc would have eventually caught it, but the Audi should have definitely come out of the gates faster with a lead.

People fail to realize that the driver mod is probably the most important mod that one can do to their car. Sam would do himself a world of good if he would spend some time at an actual drag strip with a tree to get that pitiful rt down.

The c63 has a 6.2 liter engine not 6.3. They said 6.3 for heritage purposes.

Never realized how light the Benz really was. Definitely gave it the edge over the other two. Great races with different results based on driver and rolls! Probably the best one I’ve seen so far 🎉

C63 is such an amazing sounding v8 and 1 of my top 5 favorite cars I would buy but only the N/A V8. Turbos are cool and I own nothing but turbo cars but the c63 or a TVR sagaris with that N/A online 6 would totally be happy with

As a former Audi and MB salesman; the RS5 as beautiful sounding and looking as it is, doesn't hold a candle to a C63 with a 6.2 - especially with the performance pack. RS5 is certainly easier to live with and softer. I remember doing 0-110-0km/h in city blocks in Calgary in a C63 pp - spinning through first. Girlfriend loved it. The RS5 doesn't have enough torque to ever get the jump on the Benz.

C63 is a beast but I luv how the Audi sounds !

Those C63's do like mid 12's in the 1/4 mile and low 12's for the 507 edition so they are no joke. When MotorTrend tested the 507 coupe I believe they managed to do a 3.8 second 0-60 and 12.2 in the 1/4 mile. However, I did expect the Audi to shoot off the line better and the other two to pass it midway through but obviously that wasn't the case.

Okay after watching, interesting results! The dig I was correct. Rolls nice to see the Mopar show out in that contusion blue 🤤 C63 from that time frame one of my fav whips such a rocket. All 3 of them sound and look good. Great upload!

The RS5s are great from a dig. They lack the torque on a roll though. Only 319 ft lbs of torque on them. Stage 2 tune will put them shy of 400 and it's still not enough.

It just has the 507 rims it doesnt even have an lsd and performance package, so its much weaker, imagine a performance pack car in this race, it wouldve been in another league

@@hos3209 and the c63 performance package, 507 and black series all make 510hp on the dyno, benz underrates there cars to make it look like ur getting more by paying more. Especially the turbo cars there under rated by about 40-70hp on average

unexpected results all around. Great races and all 3 cars are monsters

The W204 C63 AMG is my favourite NA V8 of all time, the styling of the car looks like a lion ready to go hunt in the jungle, an absolute beast & one of, if not the best sounding V8, in my opinion. The engine sounds monstrous with a gnarly exhaust note, once Mercedes went the turbo route in the following generations it lost that pure NA aggressiveness, sure the C63s 4.0L bi-turbo V8 is more powerful but nothing beats the sound of the W204 model, and don’t get me started on the upcoming 2022 C63, a 2.0L turbo taken out of the A45s and jammed with an electric motor, I don’t care how much power the car has, it could be the most powerful car in the world for all I care, but a C63 AMG without a V8 is not a true C63, you’ve destroyed the soul of the car, the performance as well as the noise is what pure AMG buyers want, if we wanted a 4 cylinder the A45 is there for those who want it, should’ve just discontinued the car & let it go out a legend. Also don’t be confused, it’s not a 6.3L, it’s a 6.2L (6208cc), the reason why it’s called “6.3” is because it pays homage to Mercedes first ever V8 which was a 6.3L engine used in the Mercedes Benz 600 & 300 SEL

It's actually labelled 6.3 as German auto OEM's always round up engine sizes. So 6208cc gets rounded up to 6.3L - the same as a 1904cc engine would be rounded up to 2L if from BMW/Audi/MB

Was that a P31 packaged C63? It was much faster than I expected, but I do know the P31 package picks up quite a bit of hp over the standard ones.

@@Sideways_Singh not a 507 buddy, doesn’t even have the alcantara steering wheel. Probably missing the LSD option as well. P31 package or even the 507 come with alcantara steering wheels by factory and red caliper breaks. Only way to find out if it is 507 if it has the 507 badge on the passenger airbags!! 😅 tehe I

I'm not like a mercedes boy or anything but there aren't too many things that can compete with that 6.3L V8, there is no replacement for displacement. Crazy good looking car and sounds amazing.

All three are super great, but that Audi sounds so good.

I have the RS5 and my partner has that Merc (although she never takes it out of comfort mode). Both mazing cars and brilliant in their own way. I don't think that RS5 is making 500 hp though. Mine isn't making that, although tuned, and I can get 3.7 seconds 0-60 on a half decent launch. It would be good to know the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times achieved during the race. One thing that is very noticeable between the two is weight. You can really notice when lift the hood and trunk of the Mercedes, or open and close the doors, how much lighter they are than the Audi's. I've found it puzzling why Audi didn't use lighter panel parts in some key areas on an RS product. The hood strut that lifts the hood on my Audi failed and it was then that I realised just how heavy that hood actually is. I can curl a 50kg bar, and lifting that thing took a lot of muscle.

I remember when this was a great channel for car lovers, But now you have to spend most of your time figuring out which car is wit and you can't really enjoy the race or you have to watch the video multiple times once you figure out somebody switch cars but you don't know if that's the car that was switched because you didn't see the rest of the drivers and you don't ever see anybody get out of a car and someone get in the car that someone just got out, So you try to look at the dashboard order insignia on the sterewheel to figure out which car you're looking at.

It's all about traction with the charger RWD which is why it did so much better in the roll races.
