Lansing Livin yes, I’ve had to switch to premium permanently. That’s the price you pay for performance haha Make sure you find a shop that knows how to tune too. I would also recommend that they be able to dyno it for you too.

I’m like undecided about what car I want. Camaro Lt or SS or Challenger Sxt/Rt or Q50 hybrid or the sport version or the charger sxt or rt. Anyways, what’s your HP with the supercharger?

Nice ride. I personally wouldn't buy a muscle car without any but a lot more people get 6 bangers than any other model because they are affordable and insurance is cheaper and is the same with Mustang and Camaro

Actually saw about a 3 mpg increase as well... that is if i don't get on it, but holy shit its hard not to do when it feels like a scat pack! I'm basically driving a hellcat in black key fob mode. I call my challenger the Hellkitty. 🐱🐱🐱

Nice Mods, I got the 2018 and I am planning on getting the Ripp Supercharged. As for the other mods, what did you do to get that sound on your exhaust? You should get the Sto n' Sho fro the front license plate.

Mc Gil Castelo thank you, and great. It was definitely worth the price for me. I have a magnaflow exhausts sports catback part number 19217. I know about the sto n go. Unfortunately the dealer stuck that on my car when I got it. The holes were drilled in and it would cost me at 600 to just fill them in and reapply the ceramic coat 😐 I’m okay with that for now. Saving for sway bars and new wheels as my next mod.

Hey love all the info you supply, but I need an honest answer with the 19217 exhaust,does it drone heavy in the cabin while cruising ? i had a flow master 817737 kit on and it droned terribly i since replaced it with the stock system again,any info would be helpful

Thanks man. No it does not. I actually got my exhaust because it had a more tamer sound. At the same time, it actually provided a performance boost rather than just adding a similar sound to a V8. For contrast, the legal decibel limit in my state is 90 decibels, mine came in at 100 decibels. California rules are very stringent, and the difference is barely noticeable.

Just got a challenger gt v6 and I want to add the exhaust like you did how much were they installed and everything? Also which tints did you get for the rear

The exhaust I got was MagnaFlow 19217, the installation was $250 and the exhaust cost me about $1,600. The tints on my lights are luxe lightwrap from luxeautoconcepts.com

Thanks Man! for small gains probably a performance exhaust or an air intake. The intake can be taken on an off easily if you have to go in to the dealer for anything. Just make sure you keep the old one.

Nice ride ! My only concern is how well will the engine hold up with the supercharger. I could have bought a hemi six speed challenger for another $5k but opted for a loaded GT AWD and love it. I’m however more into the style than the power but I will say it needs a better exhaust. I just got it today in Green Go and am hooked. Wanted one since 2008.

I own a 2019 scat pack 1320 and this video makes me want to go out and buy a v6 model! Lol...is it all wheel drive? Or is all wheel drive, GT ONLY? How much torque to the rear wheel?

Thanks Man, that's a huge compliment coming from a 1320 owner. Unfortunately, only the GT comes with all wheel drive. On the bright side they do have a Ripp supercharger system for the GT. Man, i get really jealous of the GT owners. I wish i could take my car into the snow and just have fun without risking my car running off the cliff LOL

@@shawnsms29 when they started making the all wheel drive challenger I was thinking about trading in my 2017 subaru WRX. Reason is.....CHEAPER in all aspects. Modifying cheaper, cheaper parts. Insurance is cheaper. When you said you had a supercharger on it and the HP number, that was what I was looking for in a daily driver. PS...I will never sell my 1320, they only made 26 of them in triple nickel this year. Lol......dont worry about the haters, those pricks are probably driving mopeds! Another thing, I'm 48yrs old. I've had time(more years alive) to save money for what I want. In time as you grow older you will get top of the line automobile that you've always wanted

AZ Independent yes it does. My 0-60 is 4.4 and my 1/4 mile is 12.5 You should check out 86 face, he went all out on the strip. Last I heard his 0-60 was 3.8!

For someone who’s coming from a 19 Kia Forte with 147 HP, would you say that that one of the SXT models has more than enough of a jump in performance compared to getting an RT? Not a car guy at all. But I’ve always wanted a Challenger since I was a kid.

It’s a nice jump, but the weight of the car negates a lot of that. For that reason, I’d recommend you test drive both the SXT and the RT before you make your decision.

Holy shit. My Scat pushes 550 with some minor upgrades to the engine bay, but nothing that harms the engine. I think that the ability to push 512 out of the V6 Challenger is awesome, but also dangerous when it comes to reliability. Nice upgrades, if I were you I'd get a different exhaust just because I prefer the Blub Blub of a V8. But nice car dude! Seriously!

The only way to make the Pentastar V/6 fun is to Ripp Supercharge it. A friend did this to his Challenger GT and was blowing stock 392's off the road.

Moaz it’s kind of tacky, but back then I used a sharpie for the “Fuel” text. Now I actually have a custom crow fuel logo over it. The “ //“ sign on my wheels came with the blackened out design from factory with the blackout package. Though you can buy the custom blacked out ones online.

take that VVT engine cover off and the intake stays cooler, and you can notice the difference.

Elizabet the kit was 5,500 and the install was 1,500.

Is it worth supercharging it. & does it require lots of maintenance I’m thinking of doing it to my challenger

The maintainance is not too difficult, just make sure you change the supercharger oil. Around 40-50k miles in check the belts too. For me it was definitely worth it. The extra power with the MPG is very nice. Though it would depend on how long you want to keep the car. If you plan to upgrade after a few years, i say just save your money for that. This car is my daily driver, I intend to drive it for a long time. Is the base model enough to make you smile when you press the gas? If not, then maybe you'll want more power. If it is, then just save your money for the next car.

mine was $1500 from RIPP. There is one for 2018 edition, but you'll need additional parts. Go check RIPPmods.com
