All I needed was 4 successful attempts. While trying to obtain the 4 needed successful attempts, I managed to have close to 10 unsuccessful attempts causing outbursts of yelling, profanity and rage. But all of the raging quickly subsided after a successful attempt, then quickly returned after several more unsuccessful attempts. I did thoroughly clean each center cap with rubbing alcohol and used very sticky tape. Thank you Miguel for making this video showing us an easier way how to remove the caps without taking off the wheels.

4 years later. Just tried it. Freaking worked!! Left the duct tape on for a while to make sure it adhered nicely before pulling. Thanks dude!!!!!

Worked perfect for me, I cleaned my existing caps with alcohol. Let dry for 2 minutes and I used Gorilla Glue Tape. Let it sit for about 2 minutes then went to work. And it worked the very first time with no problems at all. For those of you who are having or had issues try what I did and use the same tape I use. Will work for you for sure.

I have to admit when I started watching this I thought “no way”. Well hot damn! I just swapped all four in under 5 minutes. I barely even cleaned the wheel, to be honest.. just some gorilla tape and a pair of vice grips to make even easier work of it. BAM!! Thank you!!

I have a 2022 Dodge Challenger Scatpack. It worked great for me. JUST REMEMBER GUYS... do not get too long a piece of tape and make sure YOU PULL FROM THE MIDDLE.

Doesn’t work... Tried so many different kinds of freaking tape and the only thing that happens is me ripping tape off my wheels... Smfh

well if you are replacing them anyways, you could try hot gluing the tape to the cap

wow, i can't believe its that easy to be popped out. my lexus has a wire spring behind it and i couldnt remove the caps without removing the wheels from the car.

My caps have the words dodge. Im thinking about doing the lettering red with black backround with my black wheels maybe red lugs to match the letters

Thanks for the video. I also have a 2018 Challenger SXT with the blacktop package and those same wheels. I want black lug nuts for my wheels too but any of the black lug nuts I've seen, at least the ones that use a special wrench so the wheels can't be stolen, are for aftermarket wheels only. Did you buy standard black lug nuts or did you find ones that are locking lugs? Thanks.

Archie Pezek I bought standard black lug nuts on eBay. They market them specifically for challenger wheels. Then when they came, I degreased they with alcohol, and let them dry. Then sprayed them with high temp black paint to ensure the blackness. Probably doesn’t need it, but it gives me peace of mind

I tried this on my charger and the tape just comes off like the cap is bolted in or something. It looks like it doesnt have a wheel cover to pry off either so idk how to get it off. Any ideas?

Do it yourself one lug nut at a time and you don’t have to Jack the car up. Just buy a torque wrench and look on your drivers door panel the correct torque number and watch a KZread vid how to use it. They will rip u off taking it somewhere. I did mine in 15 min.
