Nice ride man! I've got a 1980 Plymouth Volare. Put a 360 in it a few years ago. Just finished the paint job this past year.

Nice! I also have a 79 Dodge Aspen R/T E58 360. Have owned mine since 1981! Only 384 were built in 79 with the E58 360 4 brl!

Nice! My only experience with the E58s were in in the '79 Newports that the Iowa State Patrol had used back in the day and then auctioned off to the public. Could buy them in the mid late 80s for a few hundred bucks. Pretty lively sedans that could run to 120 mph and yet weighed 4400 lbs.

my dad used to have one of these beasts, but he left it to rust beside the driveway for years, then finally junked it

The Dodge Aspen R/T is like a modern version of the Dodge Challenger, Charger, Plymouth, Barracuda, among many other muscle cars, from the 60s,70s

nice, i had a volare wagon nothing as nice as that lol, but it had the slant six in it that wouldnt die no mater how hard you tried, i think it had 5 no fouler plug adapters on it and would fire rite up , even at 25 below :-)

my dad had one of these in black once upon a time, took me for a ride in it when i was just a little gaffer, long before i could ever remember going for one. All the memories i have of that car are just of it quietly rusting in the front drive way. Pretty sure he sold it, cant really remember though, hope he didn't junk it

I had a '76 Aspen with a slant six and a four speed.... Not fast but damn I loved that car!!! I would love to have again. I've owned a '64 1/2 Barracuda, '68 and '69 Sattelites , '68 Coronet, '69,'70 And '73 Darts, and currently have a '96 Dodge Ram Sport with a 360 c.i.d. Engine that I will be swapping for a 408 stroker soon. ( notice that I didn't mention the '67 Cougar , '70 El Camino, or 'Ford F-100 Ranger XLT 390 c.i.d. .... After all we are talking MOPAR here😄)... Point is, I've owned many great muscle cars that are considered "desirable" but that Aspen was my favorite of all. I found one close to it but with different stripes but unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on it☹️. Btw... It didn't have a single spot of rust on it anywhere!!!😉

Only 384 R/T models made. Very few still exist.

Clean original except for the aftermarket wheels. Kudos for this machine!!!!

Those rims are cheap crap, it needs some aluminum rims like welds or centerlines, they are lightweight and lighter is quicker

For a car to take off like that one does, it would have to have a very healthy, modified 360 or something even bigger. I doubt that engine is lacking anything.

@WillBad20 I'd say they're from Gatineau. Their French sounds a lot like the Outaouais way of speaking French. But its merely a guess.

still have r/t for sale?? I had exact one 20 years ago... same colors, everything... yours sound a bit more healthy than mine was but loved the car....

Sounds decent at idle, but it's got no beans. Probably a bad combination of too much cam, crap heads, low compression, too tall gear, and a tight converter. Nothing in the combo seems to work together to make any power. The body and paint work, as well as the chrome, looks great though. I've never seen one of these with that much work put into it. Unfortunately they're pretty unloved models, and not worth much.

What the hell is wrong with Datsuns? The Datsun 510 is legendary, not even gonna begin on the 240Z and Co. And it sounds rough because it's got a monster motor and a cam.

Are u people kidding me that car can not have any gear in the rear end . That launch was lame did u hear it back fire through the Carb .and those rear tires what are they 80 series . 496 HP and 515 tq yeah right I do not thank so if it had that much HP and tq those skinny ass tires would have went up in as u French say le smoke a mush room cloud of smoke . gear or not post a dyno run to prove it . 25 000 no way . And I like mopars
