I was on No.89 Airman Recruit Course 8 January - 7 March 1974 which started at RNZAF Woodbourne for four weeks and we marched out five weeks later at RNZAF Wigram. I was 17 years old when I started my recruit course I'm now 60 and watching this video brought back memories. Thank you for posting this.

Drill on Day One is ALWAYS a laugh. Alot of Pers have 2 left feet and timings are way off. 99.9% of Pers get with the timings of Drill due to many hours of practice on the Parade Ground & when it all comes together during Marchout - it's an awesome achievement for all.

Got your message regarding other film of survivalist. Maybe consider several individuals with a short back story on who they are and how they got to be where they were at just before the event. Then begin bringing them into meeting one another forming two and three more forming five and those meeting another and another forming several and each with unique skills learned at different stages in their lives that become important as the event unfolds! They'll all still be some what unsure but this will improve over time and circumstances with some short setbacks that will teach them new lessons as well as reinforce some old ones! Just suggestions, good luck with the film. One character might be a disabled child really good at electronics with an older sister and her boyfriend who carry him on a stretcher learned by his sister from a girl scout lesson she never thought she'd ever have a need for! As an example. Again, Luck with rainbows.

@@AaronFalveyFalvation Wanted to add, you might also include a few animals like a horse or donkey, and some cats and dogs, a bird, as we humans have had and been helped by having domesticated animals around and these would still be an important key to survival, as they also bring useful skills that help everyone. Don't forget to send me an alert when your new film comes out! Thanks.
