If you pick a rose it dies, but most of the Doctor's companions end up dead or in pretty shitty situations that he can't save them from and Rose Tyler was the first companion of Nu Who, so he's saying he "killed Rose the moment you picked her" because she's doomed to die or be worse than dead.

This is in my opinion not far from ERB's Doctor Who battle and one reason I like that more is because I don't know a ton about Doctor Who, so I'm not the most qualified person to analyze this battle.

I have to give this to The Doctor. The voices used for him was perfect, and his lines dug deeper, including referencing Doctor Doom's past of occasionally doing good. Strange's Doc McStuffins line was a nice touch though.

I think The Doctor took it. I was rooting for Strange and he did have a few good disses in there, but The Doctor's flow was so consistent and he dropped plenty of bombs himself.

After Strange said the line about Rose, the start of the Doctor's next line should have been a reference to his "That name keeps me fighting" line, with him taking a more aggressive and less care free approach. That would have made this perfect, aside from that this was BRILLIANT. Also, assuming the "Flow so dope tho" is a reference to the Judoon language, I thought it was super cool.

@@tccasanova The Judoon (first seen in episode 1 of the 3rd season) have a language where every word is monosyllabic and usually ends with a long 'o' sound. In the 4th season (I believe it was the second-to-last episode), the Doctor has a conversation with some Judoon in their language. "Flow so dope though" is a reference to this moment. Particularly as it's preceded by the Doctor telling Strange that he's "Ju-doomed".

Holy cow Freshy, this was outstanding! As a fan of Doctor Who, thank you for giving the show the respect it deserves. I loved all the references you included. The Psychic Paper, The banana, The Eleventh Doctor appearing in the scene which references the 50th Anniversary Special, The Meta-Crisis Doctor, the ending of Season 2 and 4 (in the modern era), The 10th Doctor talking with the Judoon, The 10th Doctor's catchphrase, The Doctor's two hearts, The Empty Child, and of course the weapons and companions featured in The Black Archives. Fan-friggin-tastic! There were plenty of deep cuts on both sides. I can honestly see either winning. However, I think The Doctor "just" took the win. Great work!

Whereas Doctor Strange failed to save half his universe and the only reason it got saved was when the heroes came back, he sat out the fight and didn't engage. He got benched which is why it's a burn when the Doctor that the reason the Avengers won in the second fight against Thanos is the magician disappeared. Which was true!

The worst you can say he did was negate her character growth but what was once learned will probably be learned again. Seriously, all these attempts to make a bad line work. Strange lost this round. Get over it lol.

I think this for me is the first time Freshy Kanal has been better than an ERB battle with the same character. Doctor Who’s flow was just just clean!

The doctors ERB was terrible to be fair, there was like 3 references that he isn’t called doctor who, the Daleks, and regeneration. And I don’t remember any other ones, and he regenerated the wrong way, from 10-8 which is weird cos 11 would make perfect sense for the portrayal they used and 11 is still an iconic doctor

3:00 Just gonna nerd analyze on why both lines don't hold up 1: "Gallifrey is toast" I mean Gallifrey has been toast like twice at this point so is it first or second time 2: "I could save your whole race from extinction... but I won't" technically the Doctor can as well but it'd rip holes in the Universe, so same logic applies for Strange

This is freaking perfection. Everybody killed it, the writing is from heaven, and the editing makes butter look chunky. This is amazing!

The "saving your race from extinction" line is good in isolation and I hate to be "that guy" but technically the Doctor CAN also save his race from extinction, he just chooses not to out of the ridiculous amount of changes to time that it would create. Strange would encounter the same issue

It's like if the Doctor said "Hulk was dead the moment he put on the glove" You would be like "Hulk didn't die though" "Walking disaster and anyone close will suffer" I'm sorry, which Doctor allowed half a universe, Including himself, to go extinct again? (Good thing the Earth didn't need him in those 5 years huh?) The BBC thing.. Show's been on for 50 years. Absolutely it's had repeated plots. Yay he got a point! But does it really hurt? I don't know how offended I would be if someone yelled "Simpsons did it" which is basically all he did.

Very creative and the live-action episode was truly great. Tibbs, Connor, and Zawesome all done amazingly with their performances that the episode good in pacing. The video effects and audio were also more detailed where I enjoyed the scenery. Great job overall for this creative battle, and I got to give it to The Doctor for those insane flows.

I'm still astounded with how good this turned out. Thank you so much for letting my childhood dream of building a tardis come true!

Well, thank you! As a fan Doctor Who, ERB’s version left me very disappointed but this definitely made up for it: the disses actually linked to the show and both sides felt evenly matched. One battle I’d love to see you tackle would be Davros (Creator of the Daleks) vs Professor X (founder of the X-Men) but you don’t have to, just thought I’d make a suggestion. Great video, a definite surprise for sure, and I look forward to re-watching this more than a few times.

not really, 1 rose never died , 2 most of stranges lines were random filler like "your screwdriver looks stupid to use"

Is anyone gonna mention the fact that Vladimir p. Is in the background as the 11th doctor (Matt Smith). And this is one of the most requested erbs so I am really excited to finally have it thank you freshy.

This was a really cool battle to watch, editing cuts were cool. Another reason I like your battles is you make them longer than erb. That's exactly the goal with my battles to, always 3 verses for each character.

This was so good wow. In my opinion, the disses and amount of layers to the bars in your rap battles are consistently as good as the very best ERBs. Incredible.
