Doctor Reacts To "The Office" Medical Scenes
NEW MERCH: www.doctormikestore.com
You’ve been asking me to react to medical scenes from The Office for months, so here it is! I talk about Michael Scott burning his foot on a George Foreman grill while cooking bacon in bed, Jim and Pam giving birth, Andy puncturing his scrotum, Dwight Schrute’s concussion, aspirin, Stanley’s heart attack, CPR, and so much more. Special thanks to my Patreon supporters for helping me pull some of these scenes!
I also took advantage of this video to announce my brand new merchandise available for purchase right now, proceeds of which will be donated to @Americares to help the organization save lives and improve health for people affected by poverty or disaster. Learn more about Americares here: www.americares.org/
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

I just want to say thanks to whoever added the vomit alert. I'm have severe emetophobia and that stuff is all over TV, cartoons, movies, etc. It made a huge difference to me to have that warning, and I can't explain how much I appreciate that!
@faithssb
2 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!! Even just slightly seeing or hearing it makes me get close to a panic attack because my emetophobia is that severe. Very few people actually give warnings though even though it’s just generally disgusting anyway. So I also greatly appreciated the warning

@KDragoness

Same here! Most people don't consider putting in a warning, and it ended very poorly for me watching anything on TV or online. I am more in recovery now than not, but it was super nice to see the warning. I still can't handle it at all in real life, but I no longer flip at any mention. I used to full on panic, injuring myself, others, things around me, screaming and fleeing as fast as I could, and my mom would have to work for hours to calm me down. I'd just scream and cry and shake and couldn't talk and could not process the emotion so I'd lash out. I still take off running and go mute and occasionally scratch myself when encountering it in person, but I calm easier and don't get violent. It just got (and still does get) embedded into my mind. I don't know why I react like this, but I'm doing my best.

My wife used to substitute for the special needs preschoolers, and when they were having a bad day, she would burrito them to calm them down. She called them her burrito babies, and they absolutely loved it. When we had our son, she didn't produce any milk, and a lot of the hospital and pediatric staff made her feel really bad about it. European here, just curious, when you’re doing first aid and the patient is unresponsive, and he’s a stranger, you have to call the ambulance in the procedure. Who will pay for it? If the patient is not covered by an insurance and he can’t pay for it can he sue you?

My friend that I know has gotten 4 concussions. The last one that he had (about a year ago) the hallways and classroom lights around where we were needed to be dim, so he didn't get constant headaches. He was hardly able to make sensible sentences, and from what he has told me, he was pretty close to death, and he got lucky.

i'm recovering from a pretty mild concussion (or 2 possibly) and a few days ago i was having trouble forming sentences without pausing to think and try to remember what i was saying. i work at a dog daycare so the noise factor there affects me SO much with just a mild concussion. when all 40+ dogs are barking at once, it almost takes my vision away

I am happy tho that it is a at home exam (some ups to Covid I guess), because it is anatomy and physiology, medical treatments etc, so I can use all my books and notes, and had it been in school as originally should be, it's a 5 hr exam with no help.... I cannot sit still for 5 freaking hours... like at home at least I can move around, use bathroom at my own time, without someone waiting outside, and sit on the couch for parts of it to help ease the butt ache 🤣
