Doctor Heather Got Her Wisdom Teeth Removed! || Her Experience
Most people I know got their wisdom teeth removed when they were much younger. Somehow, Doctor Heather made it all the way to 32 with hers before the dentist said they had to go! I think she was trying to hang on to her wisdom. We got some requests for her to discuss her experience...ask and you shall receive!! I hope this helpful to anyone who will be getting theirs removed and if not, then maybe at least somewhat entertaining :)

Enjoyed the video, Dr Heather glad your feeling better. Dr Crystal going to take the stitches out for you or did you get stitches? Wisdom teeth weren't that bad. Had one tooth developed a crack in the root, abscessed. The dentist went to pull it, the roots broke off. I was left in the dental chair for an hour while the dentist cut, and dug to get the roots out. That was a terrible.
It’s still crazy to me. Over here they just take them out. Full anesthesia or laughing gas is only used on people who have an extreme fear of the dentist. I remember they took out 3 of my wisdom teeth at the same time, the numbing injections weren’t too bad if I recollect it well. And after the removal, we don’t get prescriptions, I didn’t have to ice and have never even seen these things for around your head to ice it in real life? I just had to flush the “holes” with saline water every day (don’t remember how many times? I guess at least after every meal) and could just take a paracetamol or ibuprofen if I needed it. But I don’t remember needing much, if any? And often I see these type of videos and I am like: Whaattt? I’d do the numbing injections again today if I needed to. I don’t like the dazed part of this method. Though it gives great content for videos and experiences for the people around the patient 😆. So I am glad it exists so I could watch this (and have seen more before). But personally I would not like the fact that I am not really aware of what I say? Thanks for this additional video though! Always love seeing the both of you! ❤️ Hope you feel your complete old self again soon Dr. Heather! At least you have an amazing Dr. Crystal who took & takes care of you! 🥰

@@DoctorCrystalMD i had 2 smother them in orajel and then eat as fast as i could. Because the orajel only lasted about 2 minutes. Anything harder than a freshly baked cookie had me yelling. They say the body forgets pain very quickly but i remember how much that hurt all these years later.
Could you please do a video on becoming a doctor? BTW loved the vid!

Good music choice! Do you remember them injecting the medication into your IV! How did it make you feel?

Did ya’ll get vaccinated yet? Maybe a video on that?
