I went from 265 to 180 in 8 months by eating olive oil, spinach, rice, steak, and chicken every night while drinking water and protein bars during the day. I just didn’t think about food. I had dying dog and a lot of other things to deal with other than staying a fatty. I know it’s harsh but it’s the truth. My family would constantly tell me I looked sick and to regain weight. Years later, I understand now they just were not used to me being at that weight. Don’t let anybody discourage you. It hurts too don’t aim to be skinny. Once you get to your desired weight according to your height then please eat accordingly and try to put on muscle. Best of luck my friends. God Speed!

I started a 16:8 after visiting my doc who recommended it. Until my doc suggested it, I thought I.F. was a fad that was like so many others. At first it was a bit daunting but after a few days it felt routine and not dificult at all. My mental clarity has increased and have even felt euphoric at times. I noticed yesterday that I was using a new belt hole and my clothes seem more loose. Ive lost 11 pounds in 2 and a half weeks. This is an eating style I can stick with. One recommendation: Commit to this for at least a couple of months. It will reinforce a great habit within you. For me this diet feels revolutionary.

I have lost weight and the reason i post this comment, is not to brag, but to say that i was a total slave to a diet high in sugar and never imagined that i could have the strength to curtail my appetite, eat healthier and loose weight. Had the privilege of time and decided to absolutely devote to building a healthier lifestyle. Went from 40% BPF to around 28% in 3 months through Intermittent Fasting - But also including doing progressive overload hypertrophy training, HIIT circuits, and taking supplements like creatine, omega-3, probiotics, etc. The one thing I thought was a bit off is that while brown rice does have more vitamins and fiber over white rice, most white rice nowadays have vitamins enriched back into them. It’s certainly better to choose brown, but to say avoid white rice seems unnecessary.

It really help clear out the whole system along with loosening weight . I lost 7 lbs in 1.5 month.. i also did low impact exercise 4 days a weeeks, mostly my lower body as i had central obesity.. I am really happy most of the time.. less allergic incidents. Good GI system, intially it was little unexpected and uncomfortable but now its so organized. I highly advocate for this unless contraindicated by your doctor based on your health situation. 🎉🎉 BTW it makes you look younger and hydrated.

Gonna do it Starting date April 22
I've never had issues with weight in my life. I'm almost 40 with 4 children. Genetics may be the dominant factor in my case. However this is how I've naturally ate since as long as I can remember..3 years old and up. The times in my life where I worked longer days so ate over a longer period and fasted shorter, was the ONLY time my weight began to climb. It was a temporary work assignment. Once it was over and I reverted back, it was gone in about a month or so. I just sleep 8-9 hrs solid every night and don't have an appetite until afternoon.
Thank you for the information. I am a beginner & I am in the medical field. Saw my co-worker do this with great results

I had a crazy coca cola addiction and cravings for sweet things, but since I started fasting, all that has completely vanished it's incredible. I can fit into my jeans again and I sleep way better, I have an increased amount of energy plus I have a healthier relationship with food ..endless benefits to fasting! It's pretty much a lifestyle now.😊

Good video. I personally lost 66 lbs (30 kg) in 8 months without losing any muscle mass and strength. I followed a high fat, low carb diet and it worked very well for me. I never did intermittent fasting. Losing weight is incredibly easy if you know what you’re doing 🙂

@@ashantic6171 Hey, I never fasted. I ate 5-6 meals a day. You could fast without exercise, but I would recommend you do strength training to prevent muscle atrophy during your fast. It is also important to drink a lot of water during fasting. In general, I would not recommend intermittent fasting in the first place because there are better and more enjoyable ways to lose weight and still get the same benefits. Intermittent fasting in my opinion has more disadvantages than benefits, especially if you’re alternating between bulking and cutting. Perhaps you could still exercise, but focus more on upper body exercises and machines if you have a bad knee?

@@StephonWeightLoss yo man, did you do the tdee-500 calories thing or something else? I'm just completely lost on how to actually lose weight and don't know where to start

@@carterman4689 Hey bro, I did more than the tdee -500 calories thing. In short, (1) gym 5x a week, (2) cardio 2x a week, (3) high protein, high fat, low carb diet, (4) drink a lot of water, (5) get enough sleep, (6) eat 5x a day. So no crazy weird things like only eating 1x a day or intermittent fasting every day 🙂 Losing weight is incredibly easy if you know what your doing, so I am happy to help if you have any questions.

@@StephonWeightLoss thanks for the help man, where do calories play into that, like is eating less calories what you should focus on or is there something else to it? Because lately I've been eating my tdee-500 and not doing anything else, and I'm just wondering if theres better ways of doing it
I went down to 183lb from 240lb doing this intermittent fast it does work 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I’ve done this a few times. Usually the results are pretty drastic. I’ve lost 52 pds in about 3 months. With intermittent fasting. And eating super healthy. Gave up sweets and all fast food. I feel fu**ing great!

I’ve enjoyed my time transitioning to fasting. Currently eating once a day around 6:30am, Greek yogurt, almonds, macadamia nuts, pistachios, chia seeds, quinoa and blueberries all in a parfait. Lost 26 pounds in a month while having a very physically demanding job.

Thanks for sharing your experience here.
It's important to avoid all ultra processed foods liek bread, pasta, biscuits, junk foods, fast foods, all sweet and baked items containing sugar and all canned and contained food items filled with preservatives and emulsifiers. Focus on whole foods.
I've lost 27 pounds since September 1, 2023. And I feel great! ❤
Started doing this a week ago and I'm noticing it's getting easier to wait to start eating in the morning. I eat from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. and I pair that with watching what I eat and I noticed that I have more energy in the morning as my body starts to pull from that reserve of fats. Pairing this with increasing my workout will hopefully help a lot

I was 240ibs when I started at Christmas 2022 and currently, now I'm 207ibs I only consume 700 calories a day sometimes 100/200 calories and even some days I do a fast I eat at 6pm and only eat 1 meal per day eat at 6pm every day and you always on a 23.5 hour fast remember trying this type of diet means it's ok to have a cheat meal 1/2 times per week but don't go overboard I will come back to this comment in 1 year if I remember to keep you updated on my progress I hope to be 160ibs.

@Ty Bricklehurst How is it going for you?
Doctor - what do you think of keto diet that advocates high fat diet and read meats. It has worked for me. Yes, my cholestoral went up; but i did loose weight.
My respiratory consultant has asked me to try intermittent fasting to try and lose 4st. I have lost weight in the past with slimming world but it’s not working this time. I aim to start this on the 1st of January as got a lot of meals I’ve been invited to during the Christmas festivities.
It’s May 17th, 2024 and I’m currently 209 pounds, was about 218 a week and a half ago. Been going to the gym and working out slowly to get back into a routine. I want to combine it with fasting to see if I can get to 175 by at least August this year. Seems like I’m pretty much on the right path so hopefully this works!
Hello sir !! Can we do some home workout with intermittent fasting?? And is it okay to avoid IF sometimes??
