I believe no one really even thinks of this,,,,,,yes, I know that "DISCOUNT TIRE" does , indeed.... but regular people don't bother, they just tighten the hell out of the lug nuts,,,,yeah> for my Geo Metro the Tq was ? I think 72 ft lbs. if I'm not mistaken.....? My corolla? Don't recall, but before I do tire rotations, I always check the #'s!

Too many tires coming off vehicles injuring innocent people. Tire shops, Mechanics, and DIY'ers in a hurry to save time are going to kill someone. 5 minutes....that's all it takes. Great reminder 1AAuto.👍

I have a 2016 Tahoe and the lugs were SEVERELY overtorqued by about 100 foot pounds. Should I replace the studs and nuts or will it be fine if I just Re torque the nuts to the proper spec.

I would like to see a video where you explain the friction on the contactpoints for a bolt and why a specific torque is so important when fastening your wheels. Many uses lubricant/paste(?) of some sort on their bolts, and a video explaining how this changes the friction needed might be very important.
