Jules, very few guitar teachers I've experienced on YT break things down so logically and efficiently as you do. Every video, regardless of the topic, has a gold nugget in it somewhere. Thank you so much.
The last few videos of yours have been really good. You're focusing on melodies and licks that beginners / intermediates could you. And they sound so good. Please keep this vibe going 😄 Thank you!👍

Yes! I agree with you! 👍🏻
The way you present your videos and knowledge to us is outstanding, Jules. Thank you. 🎸
I have memorized all the pentatonic forms, but am still confused about how to use them. thanks for the explanation. GBU
Great lesson 👍 I like the way your diagrams are orientated to our view looking at your fretboard. Makes things clear
Wow Jules!!! You out did yourself! I wish I could press the Like button many more time :) This is an incredibly useful video. I don't think I ever saw a video like this not only how to connect the boxes but highlighting the strengths of each box along with these connections. What an Amazing video! I'll watch it many more times. If at all possible, please do the same for Major pentatonic, I know it's same boxes, but I suppose the phrase highlights won't be same. Thanks so much!!!
This dude is letting all the secrets out of the Jeanie Bottle. SO SIMPLE!
Liking this video very much. However. Could not the TAB be presented so when viewed - the Nut is on the left - with the Low E string at bottom as per most online tablature tutorials? This would make things a lot easier! Thanks
Again.. a very good tutorial. Your approach is really easy to follow. Thanks!
I seriously love this channel!!!
Agree with flipping the tab. Initially, it took me awhile to get my mind around it. Have not seen it done this way

The essential pentatonic shapes is very good.
Yo Jules. You are my guitar hero. Easy to understand and learn. Rock on.🎉🎉🎉
Hi Jules! I'm 54 years old and I started studying electric guitar. Doing some research, I found your KZread channel and I really like your teaching method. I would like to know about fundamental exercises for beginners. Thank you very much! I will follow your classes here in Brazil. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😃🇧🇷
You divide your solos into multiple mini melodies and it's a great way to approach these scales! Thanks a lot man!
Hey Jules, great videos, I have been playing the guitar for many years, and your approach to the pentatonic scales and boxes is taking me to a whole new level. Is there somewhere where I can play your background tracks, the link does not appear on the screen when you say click the link? Great job, and thanks alot.
Explained in an easy to understand functioning way! Thanks for a super video!
Thanks , this video is amazing🎸🎼
Superb, Jules! 🙏👍
Great vid
you my friend are a great guitar player and also a great guitar teacher!!!! Thank you for lesson!!!
Thanks Jules, a couple of those boxes I never use...but I will now!
Great 👍🏻 idea and melodic
Your guitar is beautiful 🤙
Thank guru🎉🎉
I see that famous house pattern but when you move the house up 2 frets it supposedly becomes the B. B box. where is it in position three in this conversation? I mean how does it fit in here? can you or anyone say something about it? Who else thought of Badfinger's King of the Load, Day after Day and others throughout this lesson?
I really enjoy your videos, very educational and helps me fill in the blanks. The fret board in the video below you guitar, is it supposed to be like that? What you are showing I learned upside down, and from left to right from your fretboard. Was I taught incorrectly?

No, you were taught the standard way. He's trying to make it match with his fretboard in the video. I think. But then when you try to match it to your guitar, it looks confusing.
I think your tabs are fine as is😀
Great video! The fretboard diagram confused me at first though. Until I realised it was reversed. I get you are trying to make it match with your guitar in the video but for anyone to follow along with this stuff properly they should have their guitar in their hands and then it won't match with their guitar. That's why nut on the left is standard.
Why is a minor 3rd called a minor 3rd? What does it actually mean/
What amp do you use for your sound jules?
❤
Yes
Please Don’t flip the tab, I like the way you presented it!! Makes more sense to me

It’s not a tab. It’s a fretboard diagram. And the diagram perfectly matches the fretboard on his guitar.

@@jamesivoryasarella2109 Yeah, like why use the original way the diagrams have been drawn in books and Tabs for hundreds of years when you can just change it and make people relearn it. Also, when people new to guitar, learn Tab/Diagrams the way it is presented here and then look up tab for their favorite songs on any guitar tab site or a book, they also have to relearn how to interpret it! That makes things nice and easy for everyone.
your neck diagrams are the wrong way around mate, not sure if you noticed.

I redraw all scale charts to the opposite view so I can make sense of them. But that's ok I still learn lots from Jules.

@jackfromthe60s If you have learned it the other way around for years, it's confusing! Take a look at guitar books. All displayed the other way around. I find it hard to follow his lessons this way.
Dude, flip the bloody tab. You have great is videos but listen to your viewers as your tab position needs a mirror to make it usable.

An easy solution for those that would like to see the fretboard "inverted": use a mirror to watch the video. You are welcome 😊
