I’m starting to dip my toe into GMRS comms. It’s been useful for range days, hunting, and travel. FYI for anyone interested in GMRS. FCC is lowering the price of the 10yr license from $70 to $35 starting April 19th of this year.

Pretty cool those were big in the 80's remember as a kid using them all the time aunt and uncle were big timers in that space as a hobby.
