I like your videos! I got several ideas from this one! I am a novice at modifications and inexperienced as a mechanic so the more detail you put in the better for me! Don't hesitate to show every step in my opinion!

I installed my MXT275 underneath the center console basically right below the shift lever. There’s a perfect cubby where I used 3M VHB to adhere the radio mount so it can still be removed if need be. Then wired it to my VoSwitch and put a pass though female plug for the mic on the kick panel.

Great video, I have the same radio. But mark your calendar for July 26, that when Midland debuts their Australian style antenna. They look good in rear or on SSO bull bar

It works well for my purposes. Clear and a pretty good range. I like that I can hide it, as described in the video.

How did you get the antenna cable to stay in the windshield channel? Is there anything actually holding it in the channel, or is it mostly laying there. Great install vid though, thanks!

How did you hardwire the radio? What fuse spot did you use?

I used an “Add a Fuse” and connected it to one of the fuses that is always on. Can’t remember which one. May have been the electric seat fuse.

my battery had side huck up so I ran a wire from the battery through the fire wall and wired up both radio's with a 2 amp fuse that did the trick.
