The behringer XM8500 is probably the best for durability and sound for the price is crazy, but I wish a beatbox company made a specific microphone for beatbox for feedback, I use sennheiser e935 just cause it’s cardioid so the polar pattern should cause less feedback really

I used a XM8500 as my first mic and it worked very well. Now I use an AKG D5 and I’ve had it for about 10 months

I have the Shure PG58, when I first got the loop, my dad found this mic he used and gave me, and so far it’s nice, it sounds good

I have the sm58 for two years now and bought the e945 on your recommendation one month ago. You can really tell, that the sm58 was primarily made for singers. Since I am using the e945 now the sound quality has improved a lot (on the rc505), and much better to listen to for live performances.

Hi Brez cool video ! For me the seinheiser sounds very good for solo beatbox. Did you see the video of Julian Krause on youtube that you put this comparaison ? Or is it by pure coincidence ? If you didn't watch it, go for it, he explain how to eq the XM8500 and get almost the same sound as an SM7B ! I have used the Shure sm58 beta for over 10 years and it's a solid mic :) strong build quality, great pickup and sound. Also you can buy replacement mic heads/grills if it needed :) Great video Brez :)

I bought a $10 microphone off amazon because of my budget and it sounds terrible hahaha but I use it for my loopstation and as you say with some good eq it can sound pretty decent. I also recently got a mic upgrade for $50 and with the right eq it sounds very good. More than happy with my new mic without putting too much money into it

I think it's a really good mic for home looping

I've been using a CAD Audio D90 for vocals and it's great and a great price! I perform on the streets with a speaker underneath my mic stand and it still doesn't feedback! I tried the Akg D5 that's supposed to have really good feedback rejection and I had to send it back to Amazon for poor performance...

I use the AKG D7 I really like the mic it’s so powerfull when i gave showcase on stage really powerful lows

Nice video BreZ! I v been using the AKG D5, think its a good option with nice sound as well, and i paid 57€ for it.

@@actioncameraspro I think, for beatbox or singing use, the AKG its a better option. But if you have to use it via USB, the Samson works pretty good.

Ayo Brez, I use the Sennheiser e935, I find it to be a nice microphone, and It picks up my sounds really well and if I add a foam cover on top, it makes it nice and smooth, more than happy with it. Love from NZ 🇳🇿❤️

Brez I use akg D5, it doesn't pick up the sound of my liproll very well (and every low frequency technique), please advise. I'm using a cheap cable that plug directly to the 505, is it related? Thank you in advance.

for recording myself im using zoom h6 recorder, but for live/stage im using akg d5
