I just looked it up and to be honest it’s math that I learned back in 8th- 9th grade and it’s also a lot easier than the math that electricians and hvac techs have to do.

This is good. The math isn't hard it's just not something many young people going into trades don't have to use on a regular basis so we forgot how to solve the problems. This math isn't higher then a 6th grade level and most of us can relearn it easily over a month or two and some maybe even faster.

You start with simple arithmetic & how to use a tape measurements to flow rates , volumes & pipe sizing. So yes . There is a lot of math. If you drop out of school because it's hard & decide to be a plumber because it seems easy. Your going to struggle.

Explain to me when you would need to know the area of any of those shapes. That doesn’t make sense to me.

If you had a c or better in high school math you should be fine to be honest.

They go over the math, but my experience was that they expect you to know how to do most of it. So if you have any gaps in your knowledge it may prove difficult for you.

Hey Freddy, definitely know how to convert from inches to feet to meters. Brush up on fractions, make sure you know how to add, subtract, divide and multiply fractions. And after start looking into perimeter, volume, area and surface area. Hope this helps!
