FYI - those gloss black VW wheels will scratch easily. I wouldn't use brushes like those on those wheels.

I agree with you, Austin. Under the right conditions you can use regular car wash soap, but if it's anything less than ideal I'd stick with a dedicated wheel cleaner. Are your wheels coated? That would also help with cleaning them, especially if it's not that frequent that you're able to get to them.

I mainly use spray and rinse coatings on my wheels but you’re right that would for sure help!

Interesting video, I agree with your comments , if washing your car regularly dish soap will do the job at a fraction of the price!
