Austin, you know I use P&S and have had good luck with it (I know you're not a fan). I try to always use a dedicated wheel cleaner, and P&S is pretty inexpensive so it works out. I also don't clean all of our cars religiously, and it's mostly the MX-5 that I fastidious about keeping clean (roughly a full wash/detail for every time I drive it) so it never gets that dirty. I have used car wash soap on occasion, usually when I'm really in a hurry, but I don't like doing that and even at those times I've just sprayed on the wheel cleaner and let it sit before going in with the car wash soap during the normal wash, just to help break down some of the brake dust and dirt.

If you're a true enthusiast with solid understanding of the anti-aging additives in moderm tire compounds, metals, and modern automotive finishes, these cleaners aren't great. Sure, easy, but deceptive given the longer term impact. You blasted the viewer who mentioned Dawn PW, but this and all like mixtures aren't better! If you don't care because you lease vehicles or don't see it from your driveway with your business, you can literally make a drum's worth for the cost of a gallon. You're just paying for packaging, transport, and marketing that includes deceptive hype.
Perhaps you can make me a drum worth of your special mixture. Put some extra dawn in it please
@@gonin60detailing82 If DAWN is good enough to clean OIL DRENCHED ANIMALS , I'm good with it for CARS.
@@michaelkraus4135 use Dawn I don’t care. But I will do a follow up video to show the reasons why. STOP YELLING lol
4 tyres and the bottles is over 😅
Good math
Save your money and use the product that has stood the test of time. Bleach white does the job. And black magic now works with them. So one use cleans and shines in one pass.
lol no no and no. It is not that great. I’ll do a test comparing them.
Thanks Austin, keep up the great work!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
I really don't "get" this guy and this video. Just about any tire cleaner will clean the dirt off a tire. Why are you gushing over this product? Too many people with too many YT channels providing extremely low hanging fruit!
Most all tire cleaners I use take 2-3 passes. This did it in 1. Saves me time and money.
Have you tried Carpro retyre? It’s the best tire cleaner I’ve used so far
Never mind should have watched the whole video before commenting 😂

Try Hero from Armour.
Their rinseless? Okay will do. Pilot I have heard is good.
Yes, hero is the rinseless wash. Even if it drys you can still wipe it off and when you put the dirty sponge in the bucket it cleans it. Thanks for your videos!!
Dawn power wash works just as well if not better for three times less money !!!!! 1000 %
Yeah you kind fun things cheaper but dish soap? Not good long term on your wheels
@@Reaper-Jim yes it is. Over time depending on wheels and paint it is not good for clear coat.
@@gonin60detailing82who are these people? Clueless
@@bigguy7618 yeah the comments section on here make me know why brands like Chemical Guys do so well to be honest. Some have argued the dish soap thing for years but man any soap missed that dries on paint will damage clear coat.
@@gonin60detailing82hey that’s not fair chemical guys still makes some decent stuff and everyone starts w them for the most part. I’ve been using p&s for wheels and the adams for the tires, im gonna try this one next, can’t wait. I love videos like this thanks for your hard work
I've never used this product, but in my opinion, Turtle Wax's Wheel And Tire Cleaner works just as well and it's MUCH more afforable.
I’ve tried it. It’s good. Much more affordable? No. This product is $10. Sure it’s only for tires.
@@gonin60detailing82 Ah, but the Turtle Wax Wheel & Tire Cleaner is just $4.97/$5.00. A 2-in-1 product that costs $5.00 less. Guess we all just use what we like/works for us, right?
i bought a gallon and was not happy. it did foam a little coming off the sprayer bottle and when i scrub the tire it was not as much foam like this video. my dilution was at 4:1 . Im gona give it another shot at 2:1 and see how it goes. the gallon is a bit expensive. Brake buster is one of my favorites.
I have used brakebuster and I’m not a fan. I have tried several tire cleaners and this is no match. Yeah not sure why it’s not working great for you. Thanks for the comment.
@@Reaper-Jim I agree
How’d it go?
Wise Guys is what I use everyday. It will strip off old silicone based dressings that have been on the tires for months or years. I use it diluted 1:1 so I can work fast and move on to other parts of the detail.
It’s a good product!! Have you used Armour Detail Supply?
@@gonin60detailing82 I have not tried Armour Detail Wheel Cleaner.
Sorry I missed the livestream, Austin. Looking forward to seeing videos on all the new products you mentioned. I have a hard time trying new stuff though, as I get set on a particular product and then I find it really hard to try something different. The latest things I've tried are some polishes and waxes for the MX-5 (decided I wanted to go back to a traditional wax for this car rather than a ceramic coating). It was a lot of fun researching and trying out the new things, but normally I kind of get stuck in a rut as far as detailing products.
Nothing wrong with that buddy! Detailing is also about fun and enjoyment. Use what you like.
Adam’s wheel and tire combo is better than this and it’s a two in one for a cheaper price
Adam’s wheel and tire is good. This cleans the tires better. However you need another product to lean the wheels.
@@Reaper-Jim I haven’t tried on wheels and they have a cleaner for that. I’ll maybe give it a go
They have tite cleaner anf tire+. Why. What's the difference
Not specifically for tires it's not better
As much scrubbing you did , save yourself $20, get some comet or ajax for a couple of bucks and clean your tires
No no no and no for so many reasons
Soft scrub…
This RTU version is a diluted version also 2:1 the gallon is a concentrate
Thank you!!
@@gonin60detailing82the concentrated version you can dilute 4:1 for wheel and tire cleaner.
@@edornelas7248 excellent! Thank you!
I've seen a couple of other videos about this cleaner that have had great results, just like you. May be something I'll need to try once I run through my current stash of products.
It’s very very good!
