He’s assuming that he knows her point - 2 cases 1) His imaginary question is right but even then he’s not allowing the other person to complete in their own words. 2) If he’s wrong - easily possible as he’s no mind reader + he’s shifted the goal post to his new comment & we’ve all completely forgotten the lady’s original question as she’s not even made it. This is precisely what impatience of JSD to the other person & the audience - it’s not a conversation anymore. The lady’s just being polite & nice by not making a big deal of his pathetic attitude. At 4:05 & exactly at 4:10, when the host wanted the other speaker to participate, JSD - Sorry, you put the question in & so you answer - a leadership / parent quality is to get all to participate - serves as motivation, involvement & bringing everyone on the same page - JSD is looking at it narrowly as confrontational & a competition - I can easily surmise as actions speak louder than words - his attitude is wrong as we should be looking to solve or understand the other side better & it’s not a competition 2. Prior to 5:20, she put forth her point beautifully & mentioned where the current Govt & their supporters like JSD were lacking but just after JSD himself started asking pointed questions & at 5:30 he said that he has a right to respond on 66A when she had not even started it - he put the goal post in a corner of the field & asked her to hit - she will naturally hit but he turns around & says that you hit wrong JSD is immature & he is at best a low level worker who has to be told what to do while the high level positioning of JSD, Dr.AN like people is happening behind closed doors. So if you find someone burning buses, it's easy to determine that he isn't taking up his responsibility seriously. But some are very subjective, for example, the one about protecting the sovereignty and integrity of India. Such a subjective point makes it very easy for the government to arrest someone protesting for whatever reason and claim that they were violating the sovereignty and integrity of India. I'm sure that the arrested person would eventually be freed by the courts. But unfortunately, in India, the government has enormous powers to just hold a person for a very very long time before he ever sees a judge and trial. This makes it easy for governments (of all parties) to abuse this power and all parties have indeed done so. Given that the past governments abused this power of arrest, I was hoping that the current government, when they assumed power in 2014, would be different. I was extremely disappointed that they abused this power in exactly the same way, and actually more than any previous governments ever had.

Can be construed as free speech. But I think its more on the lines of 'Stupid speech'. How can you ever free the people of a regime under the diktat of a religion? It's in their core belief value. Religion presides over constitution there.

If freedom of speech is restricted to speaking truth, all parties / journalists may have to remain silent 😁😁😁
