    It is often claimed that Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports were constructed solely for political gain and are intended only for domestic use. However, it is worth noting that these airports also serve some international flights, albeit on a limited scale. The main airport in Kathmandu faces several challenges, and there is no viable alternative at present. However, the proposed airport in Nijgadh has the potential to become a central hub in Asia, with lower import costs than those associated with sea transport.

    CORRECT!!!!! aviation point of view le herda ktm-pkr-lumbini is a just few minutes . We should have had an airport in the far west and far east . Surkhet ma DPR pani vathyo tara the netas did it in pkr and lumbini . why? Eveyone knows it 🙃🙃

    @@babbintandukar9959 bro the airport will run by Zurich company maybe for 25yrs for that time period we don't have to pay a single penny for airport. Gov job is to just take taxes money. More than 80% people coming to Nepal will use NIA coz PIA has small runway and topography is same like ktm surrounded by big mountain and GBIA is very far from capital so more than 80% people will use NIA. Bro it think you misunderstood Air Traffic it is like traffic jam in roads where lots of vehicle runs but roads is very small.

    to add nijgad intl. Airport requires 6.7 billion us dollars to complete construction. With that huge capital we can build concrete roads to every rural villages.

    Roads are even bigger waste of money. What government needs to do is relocate villages and plan new towns and cities. Villages are super inefficient for poor country like Nepal.

    Really valuable insights from you sir. It's totally nonsense from whoever draw this plan that 4 international airport will be within 200 square kilometres. It's better to utilise all those resources for building another infrastructure than to build airport which we actually don't need.

    Lol nepal has only 1 international airport other 2 Pokhara and Gautam buddha is regional international airport which has minimum destination like india and Bangladesh to boost tourism not for economic development we need direct connectivity to european countries and for that we need nijgadh airport which is very close to fast track and it takes only 30-45 mins to reach ktm and after building this airport we can be a transit hub once look at map our location is perfect we are in a mid of South east asia and Middle east and 10 lakh people will get job directly or inderictly we need employment have you seen how many Nepalese dead body comes from foreign daily.

Lol dude , Even Thailand is struggling to become hub of Asia after construction of Dubai Airport & If Indira Gandhi Airport. Thailand is Asia's largest Tourism destination after Dubai. Do Nepal attract such amount of Tourist , If not then operating cost of Airport will become more than how much it generates. Had Building a airport would have give Employment opportunities to 10 lakh people , every country will start building airport instead of other infrastructures.

    Such a baseless statements. It's not about the Numbers of International airport , It's about the capacity of the passengers in the Airports. Know the fact that Both Pokhara and Tribhuwan can't hold the passengers capacity alone in next 2 years , A day will come when you would be waiting days for your flight to take and complaining why its taking so long.💀

    @@jitennchaudhary9665 @jitenn chaudhary bruh Pokhara and Gautam buddha is regional international airport which has destination like india and Bangladesh we need connectivity with european,american countries and don't worry about operating cost of nijgadh it will be a biggest transit hub of SA or in asia and it just 200km from air but it takes 6-7 hours by road no one gonna take a bus ride of 6-7 hours if bus ride to go their destination

    @@gorkhey1234 Bro do you know india is building jewar international airport as a major transit hub in uttar pradesh? Do you think we can compete with upcoming jewar international airport? Do some research, nepal have hardly 3-4 aircraft operating as international flight how can it be transit hub? You see how jewar international airport is being planned to handle 90 million passenger a year, you think we can compete with it? And by the way airport in Lumbini is not regional airport buddy, it's has more facilities then Kathmandu airport like instrumental landing system.

    As an Indian Nepali, firstly Nepal need to self sustain.The younger generation should focus on studies not just going to foreign countries for doing work.The government should provide the people with quality education in Technical field such as Indian IIT, AIIMS. A country doesn’t develop in 10 or 20 years,The present generation have to sow the seed for the future generation. In India we never think of going to foreign country, The people of India who are going to developed countries are mainly going through H1B VISA which is highly competitive.So, Nepal need highly skilled people.

    Nijgadh ma Space X ko Rocket 🚀 land garne plan chh kya ho 😂😂 He has given such a precise explanation about why we don't need another airport because there will be 4 international airport with 200 square kilometres which is absolutely crazy. It's better to use those money to build another airport in far western region which is logical from geographical & economic point of view

    First of all, Nepal is a Landlocked country depending on india and china. If this airport will be sucessfull in future it will be very helpful to import and export without relying on India and china. Its also gonna be a worlds 4 largest airport which gonna be very useful coz everyone might need to take transit in nijhgadh airport while flying to southasia .This is the great step should be taken as soon as possible to become a developed country in future.This man is talking without vision why why 4 international airport. useless person.

    You need to research more in Gautam Buddha international airport , it's not a regional airport .it can flight up to Qatar ,Dubai , Australia and European countries,our ministry are working on it.
