Mindfulness is concentration arise from seeing aniccha, dukkha, anatha It is wisdom concentration that leads to sangkara upeka is the 11 wisdom that like the BUDDHA teach... Not too tight Not too loose. This is the correct balance samadhi we must reach and use to cross over to NIBANNA. In the lower state of vipasanna concentration is kanika samadhi and the continueing concentration sampajanna samadhi (samadhi base on ablility to constantly observed the beath as it rises and passing away) These constant sampanjanna are capable to lead one into the mind state of sanhkhara upeka to ceaseation of pereception(sanna) and feelings(vedana) then to nirodho (nibanna) The only way to end sufferring is to realised everything has to finally cease. These numbered steps to enlightenment appeals to the materialist mind. All the truths of our Buddha were known to all the previous enlightened beings stretching back to innumerable awakenings. All words are sinking boats. If 1 jhana is enough its because theyre all illusory divisions.

It is the four which everyone must see it in meditation. If they do not see this in their meditation, they cannot come to see the end of sufferring. This 4 are the real cause of sufferrings. They are so subtle and fast changing that if without the BUDDHA telling us, we will all forever be stuck in cycle of birth and death death. After one can see it, then one has to continue meditate and aware of it. As your meditation develop you can see more clearer and clearer until all these 4 finally stop. Then you will experience ceesation of conciousness. Just like one is no more living without body and without mind. Then you enter nibanna momentarily is entering magga and return is palla. You are unconcious at this moment because you already die from existing. But because of balance karma residue, you will return to samasara to finish burning up the balance birth and death energy. Until all will be burth up for Sotopana in 7 more lifes. For Sakadagami only 3 life to burnt up all past karma, Anagami left one mor life to burnt. Arahat no more burning. Suki hotu. These 4 mind fabrication are the cause of one to believe in SELF. That is why it is very important to practice meditation. Do it slowly and gradually you will see these 4 subtle mental and body fabrications that are the cause for one to be so attached to this life and body. They are the 1. mind object we call it thoughts, 2.the on going thinking, 3.the sensations that the body create. 4. The mind or a base or station for receiving and sending it back. From mind back to the body and these process are so fast that without really training your mind to be sharp in observation, it is impossible to see it. They cause us to go in endless cycle of birth after birth. We have to wake up now in this life and the only way is to practice SATIPATHANA MEDITATION. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. Suki hotu. I wouldn't be too worried about the pali cannon , it is just another interpretation of the teachings 100's of years after they were taught + contain their own distortions. The deep stillness you say you have not experienced is something you actually do experience each night as you go sleep + before you start to dream . Try to maintain a relaxed awareness as you go to sleep + at some point you will leave all the days experiences behind you + before you start the dreaming process you will find the deep stillness you do not yet recognise as a part of yourself. you cannot begin the dreaming process if you have not firstly entered the deep stillness state . This is why they always warn you not to fall asleep when you meditate because meditation is the same process as going to sleep but without losing awareness of what you are doing + not entering into the dream state. So keep your awareness as you go to sleep + you will find the state you are looking for. Then repeat this in your meditation . We all naturally pass through the deep stillness state every night but the waking consciousness always seems to forget this . mediation practice is like going to sleep + going to sleep is like meditating , they both enter into deep stillness but in sleep you start to dream + lose awareness whereas in meditation you can choose not to lose awareness + not to dream but to follow another inner pathway. It is natural , trust yourself to remember what you have been doing all of your life. Meditation is simply a trance state + so is going to sleep . It is also true to say that we all dreamed ourselves into every life we have lived + we only truly wake up when we realise + understand this .

@@man2voidvoid2man93 What you have said I had tried many times and the only thing I notice is the state between waking and sleep where my thoughts become weird, well at that time between waking and sleep thoughts feel completely fine one more thing is that the storyline of dream becomes quite different than a normal dream ,and finally on holding my awareness on in & out breath I can not able to hold it beyond the state between waking and sleep

@@VISHAL000re Hi , as has been said many many times my friend it's all a down to regular practice . Eventually you will be able to hold that state between waking + sleeping in your meditation. You must also have a very positive attitude about achieving the deep stillness every time you meditate + even in your daily thinking you must not say to yourself that you can't do it or that you are a failure because these thoughts + feelings directly interfere with your being able to achieve such a state. Believe that you can do it + eventually you will . You do not have concern yourself about in breath out breath , as in sleeping, the breathing will take care of itself . Keep your mind on the goal + let nothing else interfere. Have faith in yourself , know that internally you are stronger + wiser than you now know .

Just tell me the what not the how. I will decide that for myself. I feel if you have to be told something to do it the. You limit you’re ability to do it. What if there was a 5th stage and you tell people that’s it it’s the end.

@@truealex4010Yes sir indeed i have . I must admit that I am not amongst the most disciplioned of meditators but with great determination + courage + an unwavering state of tranquility , one can ''go all thr way'' so to spk . I am not saying it is easy but just making the point that all or any methods if used well , can + will lead to the same ''goal'' be that cessation , suspension or nonbeing it is all the same if you see what i mean . I called Jhana , Voidstates for many yrs b4 a buddhist pointed out the obvious similarities + then i could learn from the buddists what their interpretation of these states of awarenesss are but i have found it difficult to have any sort of a conversation about the properties or qualities associated with them , I get knock backs every time , it seems strange to me that there is no ongoing conversation + buddists in my experience close up shop + dont want to explore further , as there is allways more to know + experience , even in jhana , believe it or not . thank you true alex

What is 4th jhanna in simple English? It is concentration with suppression of reasoning(stopping seeing the truth) and stopping investigation(stopping wisdom) This is the simplest explaination on 4th jhanna absorbtion. It must not be assumed to be similarly to Nibanna. It is also not temporary nibanna. It is still kelisa. BUDDHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI

By constantly teaching the mind to flow with the breath is clearly seen by similarly observed the abdominal wall rising and falling it is like amplified the breath with a binoculars and continuously seeing these phenomenor, it is capable to lead one away from greed, hate, delusion and brings about the true wisdom factors of these characteristic of aniccha, dukkha, anatha which in turn will lessen and lessen greed, hatred, delusion of the mind. These watching and observing of the belly rising and falling mind training by constantly being mindful will bring about the sampanjanna samadhi (constantly observing the mental physical process of phenomenor of breath become clear) you will be able to gradually and finally stop these physical and mental phenomenor and experience ceesation and nibanna.
