Do We Live inside Someone’s Mind?

This thought-provoking journey examines the startling similarities between the structure of the human brain and the vast expanse of the universe. We delve into scientific theories and philosophical debates, questioning the very nature of reality and consciousness. Are the parallels between neural networks and cosmic webs mere coincidences, or do they hint at a deeper, more interconnected reality? Join us as we unravel the mysteries of the universe and ponder the possibility that we are living in a conscious cosmos, perhaps even within the mind of another being. This video is not just a exploration of science and space, but a voyage into the depths of the human mind and the universe itself.

I can remember thinking something like this in my teens. That was 70 years ago. My father was smoking a cigarette. He flicked the ashes into an ashtray. I thought that maybe the glowing embers were an entire universe in miniature with a different time scale. The entire lifetime of that universe started at the cigarette and finished when it hit the ashtray. Looking through the comments it seems that I'm not alone with these strange thoughts. I had always thought it would make me sound stupid if I mentioned it to anyone. This is the first time. Makes me feel good.

@user-th9tg3bc1g I think that the hypothetical concept here is that there could be universes within universes ad infinitum. My hypothesis is just a step in the opposite direction from that discussed in the video. In our universe, on this planet many stupid hypotheses have turned out to be either genius, or simply been staring us in the face all the time when social mores and other factors have stymied acceptance. The first one that comes to mind is the heliocentric theory versus the geocentric theory of the Solar System, the latter being mandated by the church. Galileo got into some deep doo-doo for challenging that, but he was correct. I don't expect to be proven right about my hypothesis, but it's always fun to speculate and hopefully provide some amusement for others. Keep watching. I'll try to think of some more. Why does electricity work? Are the electrons chasing around a circuit the get away from the battery. Is the battery so-called because it's battering the escaping electrons? Why can't the abused electrons just jump off the wire so they don't have to return to the battery just to go through it all again?

I struggle between thinking that, and between thinking that the universe, not the earth, is one cell. Or that the earth is equivalent to multiple cells or cell clusters. Right now we don't have enough information to actually determine the size of the universe to understand the ratio of distance between the cells, we would need to know the general container size of the universe to determine that.

Consciousness. When I was 25 one evening after having taken an analgesic I had a bier and immediately passed out. The world around me disappeared, I swooped in a very black spot and started to think: "If I continue this way, I'm going to dye", because you notice that you are dying but that knowledge comes with no fair no emotion no pain, nothing. It was a mere statement, "If I continue this way, I'm going to dye" I was repeating myself. Then I saw my all life in the blink of an eye. I saw everything down to the smallest detail it was like a zipped movie in a flash of which I was the simple spectator. I didn't feel any strong emotion, even less I saw lights, figures, tunnels of any sort, it was just my surviving consciousness in this very black spot. Then, while somehow I was waiting to see something else, I came back to life. The friend I was in a car with was calling me "Skull" as that's how I looked like to him during the passing. I report this story to testimony the surviving of the consciousness and only the consciousness in the first steps of the death process. My impression, and it was just an impression, was that I would have survived despite the end of the body. My consciousness would have survived even longer those first steps of the dying process, that's what I believed. (By the way since then I have not any fear to dye, knowing already that when it will come it'll be a spontaneous, not painful happening).

I strongly believe that in a couple of generations humanity will make a breakthrough in understanding of who we are and what is around us. I hope this will change the way we live, bring more love and compassion in the society. P.s. what also takes my breath away is that we are all the result of dying stars. I think that it's a very fascinating subject. I am a little less optimistic than you that we will get the answers in a couple of generations. It is possible that 1000 years from now, we will still be seeking answers. As we learn more about the cosmos or the quantum world, more questions come up, more complexity are discovered. Ants could never understand us humans, no matter how much they try. Multiply that a million times for humans comprehending all the complexities of our universe or universes. Having said that the process of research and discoveries through the scientific method should continue to guide us as a species. We have made lots of strides because of it.

The reason universe, consciousness, and everything there is exists - is because these are all part of his creation - so everything except God is created and managed. God is not Universe, nor part of the universe, universal spirit, nature, or any dimension. Those are his creations but he is unique. God is not some object that can be objectified. I think it would be neat if those filaments are created in a similar manner as occurs for trees in a forest. All of their roots will intermingle and form a network. That forest of individual trees essentially becomes a single living organism in a sense. I could see how the formation of a universal "consciousness" or "neural network" could form in that way. Would feel naturally occurring and symbiotic.

Within that "mind," our whole multiverse may be just an atom of a speck of dust on someone's dog in another multiverse which itself is just an atom of a speck of dust on someone's pet, and so on (in every direction). Furthermore, it could be that and not that, both and neither, simultaneously, paradoxically.

I put a lot of thought about that, and my conclusion is that the universe developed conscience, and we, all conscious beings are shards of this universal conscious. Our mission here is to develop and learn about things that no matter how much the universe try it can’t develop by itself, that is unique experiences, emotions and creativity. Once we are done we just become part of this conscious again aggregating our unique experience to the poll. You are unique, no ine in the whole cosmos experience life in the same way you do, you might think alike and come as close as possible but all our experiences are unique, even because we interact with other unique people. Ppl who experienced NDE (between the many types of reporting they did) a common one is the feeling of peace, feeling of expanded mind abilities, clear thought and being able to remember all their life in details (that’s why so many ppl say: I saw my whole life pass through my eyes) In the end they feel that all these experiences are not taken in a judgemental or shameful way, but just as experiences. Also; the laws that govern the universe prevent us from moving away from our immediate solar system into the void. Maybe this is the way the universe do to prevent us from moving astray from our object and keep learning and accumulating experiences in our own environment.

Started As Monotheism, Ending With Polytheism. In Ancient Times, Hinduism Was The Largest Monotheistic Religion, When It Later Added The Trinity, Along With The Marvel Type Gods. Then God Sent The Avesta: Zoroastrian, Whom Also Did The Same. Then God Sent The Cannon, To Buddha, Whom Also Did The Same. Then God Sent The Psalms, Also Corrupted. Then God Sent The Torah, Also Corrupted. Then God Sent The Gospel, Also Added The Trinity. Then God Sent The Quran, Protected By God's White Magic [Last Revelation]. All The Previous Scriptures Before The Quran, Still Have Some Godly Verses, But Many Versed Edited, Subtracted And Added. In The Light Of Hindu Scriptures.... Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion. Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in thirty three crore i.e. 330 million Gods. However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only one God. We can gain a better understanding of the concept of God in Hinduism by analysing Hindu scriptures. #UPANISHADS: The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus. The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God: "Ekam evadvitiyam" "He is One only without a second." [Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1 "Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah." "Of Him there are neither parents nor lord." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2 "Na tasya pratima asti" "There is no likeness of Him." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3 The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form: "Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam." "His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20] Thanks

Ive thought about this for a long time now. I like to go a little further into aswell. All life seems to constantly thrive to create more energy. We and all other life do everything we can to continue living and producing more energy. We are the generator for something much larger on a dimension we cant comprehend. Everything comes down to crearing more energy. Look at evolution, every change, every life and death, is meant to live longer and continue producing energy even though the surroundings are constantly changing. It seems like our universe may be a neuron in a brain like structure constantly trying to thrive and produce more energy so the being it is apart of will continue to thrive.

"Strangely mimetic wouldn't you say" is what he said. It's literally the exact same concept we are talking about right now.

A large fraction of the overall activity-from 60 to 80 percent of all energy used by the brain-occurs in circuits unrelated to any external event. With a nod to our astronomer colleagues, our group came to call this intrinsic activity the brain’s dark energy, a reference to the unseen energy that also represents the mass of most of the universe.

i think if we do live in someone’s mind then we live in the mind of The Great Observer, bc every time the Observer observes something new, they also learn something new from that observation, which in turn makes our Universe (that exists inside their brain) larger and more complex (literally, bc learning new things creates new synapses in your brain). and that’s why they say they say that maybe human consciousness creates reality, and “repeated acts of observation give rise to the reality that we observe”, bc we are also Observers (some may say Gods) expanding the neural universes inside our brains (macrocosm-microcosm analogy).

In India we have been saying this always, always always, our spirituality isn't religious, instead it's science.. and modern science is yet to there... We always used to say "Brahmanda is same as the pindanda" "Brahmam" referes to cosmos "pindam" refers to human body.. Also in Sanskrit pindam is mass. Pindanda” is the scaled down entity of “Brahmanda” means everything universe has is there in a human body in a downed scale, and to know the universe we used to study self or pindanda. This is why yoga is popular, it's used to understand the human body in a experiancial way, so we are realising what cosmos in a way that reflected in our body. You can comment to know more...❤

SALaM, SHLAMa, SHLOMo, SHALoM, NAMASTe, PEACe. A Human Never Became A God & God Has No Image, No Statue...!! In Every Religion Scriptures There Is Only One God....!! The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God: "Ekam evadvitiyam" "He is One only without a second." [Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1 "Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah." "Of Him there are neither parents nor lord." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2 "Na tasya pratima asti" "There is no likeness of Him." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3 The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form: "Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam." "His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20] Shukriya
