@@alikkhusainov319 Simply not true. Its only since the Russian invasion that Russian was withdrawn from schools and practically speaking Russian was the main language in the east of the country and the second language of the west. I speak Russian and the reaction was only ever a warm one, the number of people that were unable or unwilling to talk Russian with me can be counted on my fingers. They are not recognised as a minority because they are a majority. The reason for this is over the last couple of centuries there have been at least 40 laws against the Ukrainian language and a concerted effort to irradicate Ukrainian language and culture. The filtration and the ethnic cleansing against Ukrainians, the expulsion of millions of Tatars and the replacement with Russians makes things complicated... but even the Russians don't want the Russian states boot on their neck. They just feel compelled to vote for it when a gun is pointed at their head.

I honestly believe there couldn't be a better option for a president. I'm a foreigner and I have to say that Zelenskyy watching Zelenskyy first few months of the war was like watching a hero of a fairy tails only. The man together with his nation was so inspiring that many shared the same sentiment as me. His roll in support for Ukraine in the beginning is the most important of all I believe. We all admired the bravery of Ukrainians and as someone who's from Baltics my support was and always will be with Ukraine. However Zelenskyy managed to invoke these feelings into others that otherwise would be not invested or so close to the conflict. He managed to affect regular folks around the world so much that the governments of those countries had no choice but to react and act fast for Ukraine. I can't imagine a better president for such a time. And his team of writers and ppl that does research for his interaction go foreign leaders are also insanely good. That comes from acting and improvisation. However it is undeniable that Zelenskyy is brave as hell too, not only did he not left Ukraine but he visited frontlines and freshly liberated areas where ruskies could take him out. The man is a legend and there's no one who could've done it better then him. I have to agree with the guy he is the best president in the world atm.

Ukraine would be Russia right now if Zelensky had not immediately responded as he did, and if he were not such an excellent negotiator. Ukraine simply would not have had the Intelligence information that has been utterly vital: it would not either have had the ammunition or artillery it has relied on since the third week of the war. The EU, UK and US would have sat back - as they did when Crimea and Donbass were occupied - and watched as both Ukraine and Moldova went under.

Don't talk nonsense. They talk to him and support him only because he is useful to them (Western leaders) since they can act against Russia with someone else's hands. In addition, most of the enterprises and lands belong to foreign corporations, they are the ones who defend the war and do not allow peace to be concluded, because they understand that if Moscow wins, they will lose their investments. Gaddafi's son also performed in the United States and was clapped, and then killed. And Osama bin Laden? he was initially advertised as a fighter against communism, financed, and then you know what they did to him. Zelensky is most likely waiting for the same thing. He is a pawn and an actor who plays his main role well. The truth is that peaceful people are dying. He promised to end the war in the Donbas when he put forward his candidacy. And as a result, he unleashed a war in the country, closed the opposition parties, TV channels that broadcast a different point of view. Orthodox peasants are being persecuted now. And some scandals, and Ukrainians haven't forgotten. I'm hoping after this war is won, that Zelensky can transition from a Wartime politician, to a peacetime and lead Ukraine into a better and more equitable country. The main thing is to be politically engaged for a healthy democracy. And Ukraine doesn't seem to have any disillusions about staying informed and being able to think for themselves. I am a Ukrainian girl living in Mariupol. There is an Alley of Angels in Donetsk, where hundreds of children killed by the Bandera junta regime during the nine years of the civil war are buried. I want the regime of this terrorist neo-Nazi satanic Bandera junta, their leader Zelensky and other criminals, to answer in full for their crimes. Junta were given the task by their globalist masters to kill as many Ukrainians as possible until they remembered that they were Russians and returned to the Russian world. A Westerner who has been supporting the Kiev junta for all these nine years and now, know that you killed these children. You are a murderer of Ukrainian children! I believe that in response to the supply of weapons and mercenaries to the Bandera junta, Russia has the right to strike at you with nuclear hypersonic missiles. And to those who write here the slogan of the Bandera killers of Ukrainian children "Slava Ukraine", to those who supply weapons and mercenaries to criminals of the Bandera junta for the murder of Ukrainian children, I want to remind the arrival time of the Sarmat nuclear missile, not the fastest Russian missile, to the capitals of countries that supply weapons to the criminal neo-Nazi regime of Kiev - 1. To Ottawa - 850 seconds 2. To Berlin - 106 seconds 3. To London - 202 seconds 4. To Washington - 995 seconds 5. To Paris - 200 seconds Let me remind you that none of the NATO countries has protection from the Sarmat missile, not the fastest Russian missile. The mother of Russian cities Kiev will be liberated from Bandera orcs and will return to her homeland, to Russia, we Ukrainians will win this war against the rotten and already half-dead West, the lies of the Western media will not help the criminals of the Bandera junta regime. Russia has led the free world against the tyranny of the globalists and, as always, will win, most of humanity is on Russia's side, it is estimated that more than 80% of the world's population supports Russia's actions in Ukraine. Freedom to Ukraine! Death to the Fascist occupiers! Glory to the Russian soldier liberator! 🇷🇺 ❤️ .

I think some people were dissatisfied before the war that changes didn't come quick enough. The corruption was deep seated but he has worked hard to eliminate it even during the war and is moving towards Europe. He is working hard to put in place plans to build back better after the war because he was also a successful businessman. However I think he will leave it to others as there are now a lot of capable young people to take his place. As long as the population doesn't hand the country back to the oligarchs

On April 12, 2023, the well-known American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his entourage of embezzling $400 million allocated by the United States to Kyiv for the purchase of diesel fuel. It was the head of the CIA, William Burns, who raised this issue, naming, in addition to Zelensky, the names of dozens of Ukrainian officials involved in corruption schemes. It looks like the information got to the CIA through the Ukrainian generals, who were angry with Zelensky for not sharing some of the stolen funds with them.

They did qualify that. You have to remember that before the war there were years he was just domestic president and that is a very different situation. If I remember rightly he was first elected on a ticket to tackle corruption. Corruption in the scale in Ukraine then was a challenge to huge wealthy interests, and he also had wealthy interests backing him. Then certainly there were the many other ordinary domestic issues like for any country that people have divided views on how to tackle. In any democracy you are going to have opposing views. No one however came out and said that he was wrong about his war time approach ..

My first awareness is when Trump tried to extort him and he refused. I thought, "Who is Zelensky?" I know now that what is said about comedic actors is true. They are among the most intelligent. Pair that with his legal degree. And see now what a smart, guilelessly natural leader Ukraine is lucky to have in this moment. He's a man with mental & psychological strength who, in his own words, does not want to disappoint his country. As imperfect we all are, and mistakes that will happen, Ukraine? This channel is Russian subversive propaganda Just a few weeks ago, on the avatar of this channel, there was an image of a Kremlin - the same image that they have on Instagram. The videos on this channel are classic subversive propaganda against Ukraine - 60% acceptable content and 40% theses that are beneficial to demonstrate to Russians and Russia. Although such materials can be found anywhere - these Russian agents take the shortest path - you will never see an interview from them in Kyiv, Ternopil or Lviv. Those 40% of Russian narratives that are conducted under the guise of "we are of no use here - we are not saying that, these are your Ukrainians" - it is easiest for them to take from the most pro-Russian regions, in particular Odesa. I hope the Security Service of Ukraine will pay attention to you as soon as possible. Their work is aimed at foreigners - to discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the West and to make people stop supporting us. Because they know that it is the support of different countries that prevents them from capturing Ukrainians. If you are a foreigner, do not trust this channel. This is a Russian channel. The video that the Russians are shooting now and everything that the Russians are doing now is aimed at one thing - the victory of Russia. Therefore, I urge all foreigners who watch this channel - do not believe these Russians. If you really want to leave a comment - leave a comment that will demonstrate to other users that these videos and this channel work in the interests of Russians and in the interests of subversive discrediting of Ukrainians.

There is a very entertaining book that came out in 2021. Its author is Danel Yergin, winner of the Pulitzer Prize. It's called the New Map of the World. It contains an absolutely pro-American view of today's problems. The position of the United States, their understanding of the prerequisites for "this war", their role in "this war" and the place of "this war" in the drama of the struggle for the preservation of US hegemony in the world are clearly indicated. The book itself is good material for judgment. An interesting fact is that this book contains both maps of the conflict in Ukraine and gas pipelines unpleasant to the United States, as well as the death toll in the Donbass. It indicates 14,000, the number of military personnel from both sides. 26,000 dead civilians as if they were not people.

Very likely Ukrainians of Russian ethnicity living in Eastern Ukraine were excluded from this interview. Since 2014, many ethnic Russians had been killed by neo Nazi Azov battalion, trained by the USA. The USA plotted to sow discord between slavic Ukrainians and Russians and hence create a proxy war in Ukraine. It's all about NATO and EU expansion led by the West.

Zelensky is a whole-hearted patriot and an extremely gifted communicator. Without him, Ukraine might have been lost. He was the first to grab our hearts and hold onto them, but the Ukrainian people have done all the rest to foster and build that relationship. Still, I don't think there are many people in the world who could have communicated like he did, so he is special. He's an exceptional wartime leader. He surrounds himself with smart people and accepts their advice, as well. I see him as a real team player. I think it's because of this openness and willingness that he is able to do a good job in spite of having no prior political experience. \ I think he might step down when the war is over. That would be good for him and probably for Ukraine, as well. His is an incredibly hard job, and it has visibly aged him in a short time. Ukrainian people are more civically and politically engaged than ever, and I think there is a better peacetime leader waiting out there for them. Time will tell, though.

yah dha..i support him 100% he is by far the bravest man in this century. I just one to point out three significant reasons why I do support him. Firstly, during the invasion he never think of himself and much for the safety of his own family, if other leader be on his shoes it could happen the other way around but Zelensky, choose to stay and be one with his countrymen, in spite the U.S offered him exile, but instead, what he said was now the famous phrase we heard " I don't need a ride, war is here, I need ammunition". this words somehow echoed all thru Ukraine it may sound ridiculous, but if you put it in these time of war it is right to ask for ammu than ride somewhere else to escape and leave his countrymen behind. In addition he made his ultimate sacrifice to put his family in great danger during the first 24 hours of invasion wherein he and his men where stormed in the presidential palace, it is so insane not to think of keeping your family first than thinking of serving his nation. Secondly, amid of these on going war because they lack military hardware : such as manpads, rockets, howitzers, guns, ammunitions, vest, and gears he never stop and got tired asking help to at least support him and his country, to fight even if he knew some of his countrymen doesn't support him in begging this impossible things, he never get tired of doing it over and over for he knew that this is the way to keep the fight so that he's people may leave and to have freedom from the invaders, but in contrast some of the Ukranians doesn't like him or hate him instead mock him, if they realized this man offered his life to save them they should be thankful enough. Thirdly, one significant role he still doing is, he was able to collectively raise the international recognition at UA is considered one of the best army in the world at least for now, and they fought relentlessly. He even travel to the city who is still being bombed and hammered by artillery fire just to be with his soldier to show his support without thinking the unthinkable of being hit by hypersonic missile while traveling but he unselfishly choose to be there, there's no leader can do that at least at the present time he shows bravery and really a working leader. I wouldn't define him by his law degree since he never practiced. But he was not only an actor/comedian but also co-founder and top manager at his large media production company. Ever tried to manage a lot of creative people? It's like herding cats. You gotta be a natural leader to be able to successfully do it. He should be viewed way more as an entrepreneur with natural leadership skills that got honed by a 20 year career than as "just an actor".

As a German I can tell you: no one else could have achieved what he has achieved. He is honest, which is rare in politics, and he has a good heart. I wish there were more politicians like him. And he is brave. And he knows how to manipulate people in a good way and bring the best out of people. From an outside perspective I can tell you: he put Ukraine on the map. He is opening doors for you, that outherwise would have taken decades to open. I sometimes think, Ukrainians expect too much from their leaders and they are disappointed too fast. Zelenskiy had the right intentions from the start, but it takes time to change a system, to find good people - and he found the good people just in time for that war. Kuleba, Reznikov, Zalushni, Budanov, Yermak etc. - they are all good people, the right people at the right place in the right time. If there is one "blessing" in that war, it is, that he is able to change things faster now, because of the war. thanks Putin... (another one of Putins goals, where he achieved the exact opposite of what he intented 🤦🏼‍♀️). I trust Zelenskiy and along with me millions of people around the world do. And if the world and Ukrainians sticks together in this, you will win that war. I have no doupt about that.

Also, they all seem to forget that he unexpectedly had to deal with a once in 100 years pandemic as well in his first 2 years of office. Which politician in the whole wide world came out of the pandemic with high approval ratings? Exactly. And let's not forget how Trump tried to extort him in his first year of office and made his life much harder than any other US president would have. This presidency had been a really shitty ride even before the full scale invasion.

It is hard for him and everyone of us.

Something like that. Sort of like Churchill. Decent for a period of time, but overall on the lacking side afterwards. If it weren't for the war, he is couldn't grow as much as he did with his new experience and character buildup. In a time of peacetime, people tend to lay back and become lazy and never reach their height or potential. But because of the war, zelensky has learned how the military functions, logistics, building aid relationships internationally and all sorts of stuff that ordinary presidents would never ever understand without proper experience.

Well he did get hit with an unexpected once in 100 years pandemic and no politician in the whole world dealt well with that. And let's not forget how he got extorted by Trump. He might have performed badly during more peaceful times but that's probably more due to the circumstances than it is his fault.

The overwhelming majority of world leaders (and their public) see Zelenskyy as a GREAT leader. I doubt that ANY other Ukrainian politician could have gained the same level of support from the West, that Zelenskyy has. Zelenskyy was a 'comedian' who has become a great 'leader' ....... Putin is a great 'leader' who has now become a 'comedian!! Ukraine will be victorious against invading Russian forces ... largely BECAUSE Zelenskyy has been your leader!

After listening for many decades to politicians and comedians I think many of the comedians are more intelligent , less corrupt and have a better understanding of both human nature and finance. The amount of time a good comedian that focuses on the human condition and politics is stagers m g compared to the minute time actually spend on these subjects..many politicians spend most of their time smoozing with party and party politics. Here in the USA I would vote for Jon Stewart above most people in any political party. Right now I am having a hard time seeing any Republican that is running as a president as president. What a group of whackos...at least the actors on Saturday night live knew they were just being outrageous and having fun!!!
