    Best thing i have found that works the best for under coating is wools wax its thicker than fuild flim and does wash off that easy.

    Thanks for the video! This is a great reminder for me that I need to change the filters on my FASS. I still have the filter by the engine also, but it usually is clean when I change it since the FASS filters usually catch everything. Still a good idea I think to change the filter at the engine once in a while.

    Putting Lucas additive into a hot bowl or bucket of water while u drain oil always works great for me we even use it in our semis all the time love Lucas

    Wool Wax is a way better undercoating solution than using used engine oil, or Fluid film. Wool Wax is thick and stays put, where as used engine oil and fluid film wash off and wear off too easily. Also, its safe for the environment so you dont have to worry about making a mess. Regrading the fuel filter, you definitely should consider replacing it every oil change, its only another $20, use a Baldwin fuel filter since they have the best micron rating on the market at 5 microns.

    Had a question about spraying parts of the truck with oil. Do you think it would be better to use new oil (cheapest stuff you could get obviously) rather than old stuff that is gonna have a bunch of contaminants in it?

  • @LOUDNPROUD

    @LOUDNPROUD

    I personally don’t think it would make any real difference. The oil will overtake any contaminants in it. Not to mention, there’s already dust and dirt on your underside of a truck anyway. (Along with whatever comes up from the road) So using clean oil would just be a waste of money. Use the old stuff you get for free at your next oil change!🤘🏼🤘🏼

    Ive used it all. They do make oil just for oil spray . Its out of P.A. bar and chain lube works great too. Sticky as hell.

    Hey yall. I'm new to diesels. I just inherited a 2003 2500 with the diesel. Wish he was still around to show me everything, but I want to do my father's memory proud and take care of it. Does anyone know where I can find out about the oil protection? I can find videos on spraying the underside but he said something about filling cab mounts and the frame rails. How do you do that?

    I know how ford fans are born …. In my experience, buy a Cummins. Every damn month something major breaks. I have so much money dumped into my pile of shit 05 dodge in the last 20k miles it’s not even funny. Seriously. I hate this POS. Broke all the time. Broke right now. Biggest POS I’ve ever owned. I’m sick of borrowing my dads truck and I’m sick of spending thousands of dollars on a junk Cummins because no matter how much time and money I put into it I’m guaranteed it will be broke again soon. I’ll buy a damn Honda before I buy another dodge Cummins. 👎🏻👎🏻
