If you want to build a bigger chest then you need to turn your attention to chest building tips that can be done on any chest exercise, can be learned quickly, and can be implemented on the very first rep you perform.
Enter the chest workout master tip.
The chest master tip is a simple cue that easy to learn and can be implemented on every chest exercise you do - whether that is the bench press, the dip, pushups, crossovers, and everything in between.
The key to the chest master tip is that it can be applied to any exercise, is something that can be done immediately, and requires no extra equipment to get it done.
This chest workout master tip is simple: unshrug your shoulders. You see, it is a common tendency to subconsciously shrug your shoulders and traps when performing chest exercises. You might think that this has no effect on your chest workouts, but that is where you would be wrong.
Not only does the master tip assist with stability in every chest exercise you do, but it makes sure that the pecs have greater engagement. When you are shrugged, the front delt is recruited more heavily than it would be otherwise meaning that the additional work that could be done by the chest is being taken over by the shoulders.
If a bigger chest is what you are after, then you need to make sure that the chest is recruited as much as possible on every chest exercise you do in your chest workouts. You can get this done with the chest workout master tip of unshrugging your shoulders.

This is probably the most personally helpful tip I've come across here. I've seen you say the same in a longer video though. It's a great way to remove strain from your shoulders so you don't overwork them.
This was a huge trigger for me. I was working anterior delts too much before I heard him say it.

I totally agree! You'll also notice you were shrugging when your shoulder and neck muscles get tense. Sometimes, you'll feel that during the exercise and that can be your indicator to unshrug.

Sir.. [basement, with a crossover machine] *LONG* time sub.. theory on shoulder isolation: I tried shrugging to my jaw, then raises.. thinking of a lat pulldown, but flipped.. my shoulders didn’t snap/ crackle/ pop.. worked ok

How do I target tiitty fat? Im 6ft I usually am 180 to 190. I've been down to 160s in a dire health situation. But I still have titties. Even at 160. I do inclined bench alot. I diet pretty well. I do know I can improve on consistency. But I feel like I see zero change in my chest. I notice it everywhere else. Do I just carry fat there last an have to be In a super low bfi? It is the single most disruptive thing to my positive mental attitude. Any help with addressing this would be appreciated. I am 33yrs old.

It could just be your body's preferred place to store fat, you can't spot reduce so continue in a calorie deficit and eventually the body will start to burn that stubborn chest fat as well. When it comes to muscle, your lower chest gets targeted by almost every chest exercise, so continue with incline press to build that upper shelf and follow up with your preferred chest exercise, (I recommend dips/bench/pushups). Good luck and keep your head up, you're doing good! Jesus loves you

Consciously bring the shoulders down. The whole point of the video is to align the arm to how the chest fibers run. Most people usually use their shoulders when they do chest exercises, and he's basically saying take the shoulders out of the equation as much as possible. When you do push ups next time, get into position, however you do it, and try to "push up" using your toes. This will bring your grip hand, and your shoulder, down a notch. You can also try narrowing your grip width, and bring them in closer. When you get used to the concept, you won't need to do those anymore.

Dont complicate it, please, just workout. These are the things beginners ask about, Which sadly doesnt make them workoit until they know everything, things that arent that important Just work bro and set or reps can work And if you wanna be specific do (8-30) Reps and (2-4) sets, when ever you do more than 30 reps start making your pushups harder, maybe add weight on top of you, or anyway to make it harder
