Hey bro, great content as usual could you clarify how much to spend on ads, as in say one dollar a day is that all listings or each listing? I have nine set to $2 and am advertising 6 items. ok what if the customer looking for coffee then see ur ad, what if he or she would consider buying your coffee tray as well after seeing it, isn't it ok to keep "coffee" keyword on?

I know how to read my stats but need an idea of how many clicks you allow an add to get to before you determine its not worth investing as you need to much data. I have many goals to get this working and even put a couple thousand aside as I figure this all out so all the help would be amazing.

You won’t get charged for having a shop open. You only get charged for listing new items which is $0.20. 🙏

Regarding your decision to disable "coffee"keyword for one of your advertised items, the problem is that Etsy Ads algorithm still displays this item for this irrelevant keyword. This "optimization" is just a test for Etsy not a real tool offered to sellers using Etsy Ads service. So, if you disable any irrelevant keyword Etsy Ads still does use it to display advertised listing and takes the money for useless clicks.

The problem is what etsy dont count is, i have to pay for the bus, the package, shipping, the product itself, the fees, ... then there is not much left for me.

Just curious. What if you get 2.5% click rate but no sales?

If i have selected my daily ad budget as $1 then that will cover all the listings on my store right ?

No, $1 won’t cover everything but you can start there, just takes longer

Thank you for your videos. Do you make ad test on every single new item you add to your store to see how its performence and to see what listing is making the best? The thing is that its crazy to keep spending money for 30 days as etsy recommends for each listing. What do you think? Thanks :)

Yes it’s good to see how performance goes for each lisitng. But 30 days is just a standard, depending on your budget. If your daily budget is $20, compared to $1. Your total duration to run the ads can be less

It’s fine to test out products initially, but after a while, the numbers/data speak for themselves. If a listing/keyword is not working, it won’t magically start working all of the sudden, unless something intentionally has been changed
