nope I'm keeping my curls I love my type 4 hair. My hair is pressing pass mbl to waist length. My regimen is simple I clarify with bentonite clay every two weeks then I deep condition with sheabutter under the heated cap. I take two table spoons of seamoss . My hair has been growing like a weed. I have smoothies through out the week. I also have my hair in minitwist my hair has grown.

@ natural hair khronicles, where do you get your sea moss? I want to start using but when I search on Amazon the reviews say things like this isn’t real sea moss. So being brand new to taking sea moss internally I need some guidance.

@@coilyloxs9696 For the last 2 years I purchase from herlegacy625.com/ for her sea moss gel. Woman, black-owned company. The sea moss taste is undetectable. Shipping is fast w/ fridge packs. Pricing is comparable to others but I don't put a price on health (if I can do it). She usually puts a sample of a different flavor so you can try it. I buy in bulk so that I can put them in the freezer since you have to consume it in a reasonable time once open. HTH!

Good to see you back. I stop using relaxer and I just put a rinse in my hair but of course I’m a little older so the gray I haven’t in-brace it as of yet. My hair is healthy and long. I use like a mask to help with my heathy journey it does wonders for my hair. Blessing to you Sweetie 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I think…And i learned this myself some years ago…my natural hair functions best stretched/straight. I still take care of my curls, bc how my hair retains its curl is a sigh of health but wearing my hair in it’s naturally curly state is not healthy for my hair, my hair likes roller sets, blow outs and mini twists… I can’t speak to wigs…but I’m very pro straight natural hair. For health and ease (for ME)

@@mrod87 Hey! I’m pro natural and don’t mind straight styles too. I’ve just noticed that a lot of old time naturals etc are gravitating towards wigs etc which is interesting.

@@fionam4934 Yes! I think a lot of social media inflencers were not always super honest about their natural hair experience, or because they were influencers and their lives were surrounded by hair their experiences just were totally different than real consumers. I feel like I have tried every single process to maintain natural hair in WnGs, twist outs, braid outs, etc and those things just DID NOT work for me. When I was a straight natural my hair was literally to my butt....and being a curly natural never served me and allowed me to reach the same lengths. I think a lot of girlies realized that about themselves too. Its about ease and the amount of time we spend doing our hair...not the curl pattern we share with the world.
