I wear wash and go’s most of the time. I leave conditioner/leave-in conditioner in my hair soaking wet in the shower. Then I apply whatever products I plan to use for setting my curls when I get out the shower. That drying and rewetting process makes the curls frizzy and takes forever but your curls are perfect for wash and go styles. Glad you liked your results!

Hey girl, it looks good. I do wash and go all the time. The doux foam and doux big Poppa is a good combination. Also kinky curly leave in and kinky curly gel is a perfect combination but please make sure you use them together to get the results. Also UFD gel with Innersense hold gel is a good combination, you have to play around with different combo's to get the one you like. I did this when I decided I wanted to start wash n go, because I thought I couldn't do them either. You can do it.

I have been natural since 2009 and I only do wash n goes. My beautician showed me how to do a wash n go and I have been doing them ever since. I do my entire routine in the shower. I use Kinky Curly curling custard and wetline extreme or Uncle Funky’s Daughter and wetline xtreme. I rarely have fairy knots and detangling is a breeze.

Great results!! I like the look of wash n go's but like you said, they aren't really wash and go. Too much work and for me and my coils, I envision fairy knots and tangles galore😮‍💨.

The final results look sooo bomb. You are gorgeous & so is your hair. Tfs.

I also have multi-textured hair but mine is low porosity and I’ve found that using styling products that have little to no protein in it has been the most helpful for definition. The As I Am classic line leave in & double butter cream are my favorite. I use them with the wet line gel and never have issues with flaking.

Just figured out recently my wash and go. Cleansing and hydrating every wash day. Deep conditioning and protein treatments periodically. Lightweight products since I'm low porosity.
