I definitely tweak and turn all annoying stuff off, but i never do anything that sorta feels like hacking windows to remove elements or get it to do something that might affect windows update down the line.

I went to my asus drivers page, and most of them were from 2020-2021, I think I'll take my chances with the auto updater. I appreciate this video! I was idling at 38% with 32GB ram (only browser open), but after upgrading to 11 and doing all of the above, I dropped to 24% consistently. I can't tell you why precisely.

Nice video sir and yes as I stated I tweak it, I only run windows because I have 2 pieces of software that wont go to linux ever.

Amazing kit of useful tools. Changed many things with it, windows is now snappier and best of all, right click menu of windows 10 is back. I hate the windows 11 menu, thankfully I know the ctrl+x, c, v ,d commands otherwise i would spend time looking for the icon that suits my needs 🤣🤣

Hahahah this is my exact thoughts. Same comment I would have posted 😂 great tools is right. Have you tried the “lively wallpaper”…really cool interactive wallpapers for free. And coming from a lab, at work, where we transitioned early to windows 11 for game testing…I am so happy I have found a way to get the right click menu back! I am def in the lead for employee of the month

I have a strange problem, I have a PC that I use as a server where I have shared several folders over the network. I had to change the hardware of the pc that I use as a server and install a fress Windows 10, and now some folders within the shared folders are not visible from another pc. If I rename those folders from the server, create a new one with the name it had, and move the content, it looks correct. It is as if the ownership of the folder remained with the old windows installation or something. It happens to me with many folders, but I see most of them correctly.

I am using Windows 11 only for Android Subsystem.. With some tweaks windows 11 is also run smoothly like windows 10..anther words win11 is performing better than windows 10... 😄😄 I don't like one thing in windows 11 that is Context menu.. 😏 Every time you need to click show more options is pain in the a*s.. 😅😅😂

The good thing about this program is you can revert back if you make a mistake, there are some programs you might think do this or that then you disable or delete it then Windows stops working properly. THis also make me repeat what I keep saying, most people like Windows but hate the bloatware and if that wasn't there I'm sure lots would come back to Windows instead of switching to other OS systems. Irnically I just watched another video where the guy was promoting Windows11 and said these bloatware removal programs are bad and some of these lite versions are disgusting, then in the comments loads disagreed with him.

For windows 11 i dont know, but i cleaned off my windows 10 even store, Cortana and all apps did not get single fps in Arkham knight, it might even work worse, this can help desktop and with hdd builds, but for games Windows put most of that shit to sleep

Would a Windows 11 fresh install be better than updating a Windows 10 fresh install with drivers, all updates and no software? I'm trying to avoid having to redo Windows settings already customized.

Wouldn't installing GPU drivers be among the first things to do after win has been installed and updated? Didn't see any mention about that in the video. Otherwise, very nice guide.

Of course. Even if you go through Windows Update (as I did last night), you should at least download the driver version for Windows 11 and install/reinstall them.

I'm just not a fan of downloading programs to do the tweaking for me. I rather do it manually whether it's through the registry or disabling services.

Can you tell me why when we go to settings and personalization > taskbar > taskbar behavior > show my taskbar on alldisplays is disabled. You know how to activate

Brian, for students, I would say Linux is better. Today I study at Liberty University’s online program and Linux is so light that I get work done extremely quickly.

One thing I will say.... I will never update BIOS because doing that on my last computer screwed it up....I just got a new laptop and I've debloated it as much as I can.... and have it the way I want it... everything is running so snappy and smoothly.... I created a restore point just to be safe.

For example, plug in Mouse, then this mouse do so, as it were Keyboard/Flashdrive and injects some commandos/software in computer, then computer is infected, (we detect it by the-g-lab xenon mouse and downloaded official driver). just keep windows 10 windows 11 adds nothing to ur pc and in all honesty slows it down if ur not doing any heavy gaming i recommend linux mint its great as a home pc and is faster than windows

Are all those privacy settings per-machine, or per-user? In other words, must they be set for each user of a machine?

Depends where in registry they are if current user or not. Etc most are all users while others are user base apps store privacy etc

Hello please sorry for bringing this on here, I did a exactly what you listed on your previous video on how to hide account user which you made 5 years ago, please I’m stuck at a point where I can’t change value from 0 to 1, whenever I did try to change it it’s not gonna work but will only end up giving me error message, I’ve also tried using clrt+alt+delete and it’s still not even coming up with any feedback at all, please help me out on this for I’ve been stuck and need to bypass it for my exams notes and everything are on my admin user 😢please help me

Windows is like gnome. You have to tweak it to use it the way you want. In fact a leaked design of windows even looked like gnome.

I tried to symlink the program files and x86 folder and store wont work at all. And obviously winget and chocolatey wont work too. So i have a thought for switching to linux, but i do play windows games. So any linux experts who play windows games suggest me the right way! Im done with windows. Cluttered and strongly coupled with microsoft.

My celeron laptop with hdd is slower than my main pc (not the fastest pc for gaming but good for programming) but it does the win + alt animation smooter than my main pc 😵😵

Strange, very strange. Why is there so much unnecessary and pointless crap in a paid product!? If there is an simple opportunity to basically create an effective system where anyone who likes these things can add them, then why spend unnecessary resources to crapify the system!? A simple and effective approach - we create a solid foundation on which we build our work environment as needed. Unfortunately, today the modern and correct approach is an inverted approach - it creates a maximally inefficient system for which an inadequate price is set and which can be somehow used as is or we need make unnecessary efforts to throw away the superfluous and unnecessary.

I don't know. In windows to debloat your system you need to know some terminal. Which means the user who wants to avoid linux is basically having all the supposed disadvantages of linux.

Marketing and ad revenue is why. Even more so that Windows has become free for most users. Microsoft figured out that they can use ads, telemetry and such to get at least a small amount of people to spend money on the products that they advertise. They then get a kickback for this. It's how a lot of companies work now, even if it is annoying and a bad thing. Ads are everywhere and you are being tracked everywhere (or at least your spending habits and the sites you visit, so that you can be served ads that are tailor-made to appeal to you).

This works on windows 10 right?

Actually, the first thing anyone should do after installing Windows 11 is ... Uninstall Windows 11 and go back to Windows 10.

These apps ruined my windows install. I didn't do anything extreme all I did was check optimize performance and turn off telemetry and it messes up your PC now I'm forced to reset. I strongly recommend NOT downloading and using any of this stuff. System restore doesn't work either because it automatically deletes your old restore points for no reason and even when you can restore it just makes things worse

Sorry Microsoft,,, my next OS install will be Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon edition. No More Windblows.

@@dreaper2087 To be fair, some distros are very bloated, for example, Mageia linux is very bloated with two browsers. There are also minimal ones like kde neon and fedora. But at least, unlike windows, you can remove that bloat.

why not just use windows 10? or if ur not much of a gamer just use linux?

I used to hate linux at the top of my heart even though i used some form of it in the past (xubuntu 12.10). Then i discovered that most linuxes these days don't need the terminal to get your system working. Then i deleted my windows of my old laptop and installed linux mint. I'm still dualbooting on another laptop for the apps that can't run in a vm.

And know wonder why people cry and bitch when they go and break windows and get blue screens if it ant broke dont touch it u will break something 😅😅😅😅

You don't need any of this rubbish. How much did they pay you to advertise?
