shaggy's mod is based on "ultra instinct shaggy" a popular meme where in one scene where shaggy couldn't be afraid, he beat up a biker gang threatening a all you can eat restaurant i think. later in multiverses (smash bros clone) shaggy has powers, and can teleport through diffrent worlds. its very silly, became a real thing in the future. thx capcom! (i think its capcom im not sure tho)

Talladega with the double notes and Final Destination-God are like, still VERY difficult songs. I still haven’t even beaten the original FD-G TO THIS DAY, even though I’ve beaten remixes of it in Rev Mixed and Voiid Chronicles.

The reason why you find God Eater so hard is because the Anti-Mash in this version of the Shaggy Mod is INSANE, you get punished like 10 notes of damage for spamming even SLIGHTLY. (You can CLEARLY see this at 16:11, when your health goes from completely full to suddenly taking a large burst of damage.) It’s the reason why it took like 4 hours for me to beat Talladega for the first time, those Triple/Quadruple Notes in the last half of the song were taking me OUT. The Gamejolt version of the Shaggy Mod actually nerfs this heavily, so I’m guessing you were playing the GameBanana version.

I hate 9k too lmao

Shaggy always felt challenging but in a fair way. Getting used to extra keys was definitely a learning curve for most, but the engine was forgiving enough to ease you into it and I found myself getting used to it a lot sooner than I thought I would. Now I love 6 key songs and can consistently beat every 7 and 9 key song without any issues!

talking about remastered matt songs, recently there is a matt mod called voiid chronicles which has really amazing remix for all the old matt songs (also a lot of new ones). The art, visual effects and charts are insane and there are still a lot of upcoming contents such as shaggy x matt voiid wiik, voiid wiik 4, voiid tricky, agoti etc...easily my favorite matt mod and definitely worth playing.

After all this time,the shaggy mod is still a top 3 for me. I loved all the songs (especially blast and disassembler) ,the 6 and 9 key mechanics were really fresh for me at that time and they were a lot of fun. It was like learning how to play the game again and the thing with shaggy knowing boyfriend can reset time is really cool (oh and some of the cutscenes were cool too)

As for my thoughts on the mods, I'd say they both hold up fairly well. They're not overrated or underrated, just simple ideas and examples of what people can do with FNF mods. Great video.

I remember playing the shaggy mod back when it was first released. It took me *months* to even barely pass the 6 key songs. 9 key was, and still is impossible for me.

I have no idea what the latest mods are cooking up, but good to hear the classics (even though I can’t beat them)

in my opinion, the "hardest" mod from that old era. IS camilia no doubt. No gimmicks. No BS. Just pure 4K skills. Clears matt in difficulty by a mile.

As a 4k-13k player these songs were pretty fun and still hold up a decent challenge for multikey players

My keybinds are QWER CV *space* BN UIOP I use my thumbs to use CVBN as their own 4k keybinds plus the space bar (diamond) in the center of 12 keys making it 13k. A good example of multikey mods is the RonezKJ and spurk fnf mod. There are songs up to 18k and even a fan made 20k shaggy song if you play the shaggyverse mod.

An updated version of Matt/a remix or whatever of Matt that I think could be an interesting thing would be the Matt Voiid Sides Mod. It's the matt mod, but better in literally every way. (Its also WAY harder so gl if you try it) :)

You gotta try Voiid Chronicles if you think Matt can still hold up to todays standards, its a great matt mod

There was a crossover between the Shaggy mod and the Matt mod... That is located somewhere in the Matt mod, although the Shaggy mod CAN lead to the link to where the crossover happened.

I think a good matt mod to try out would be Robomaster's wiik 4, tons of songs (varying difficulties), tons of different composers, and it includes some songs from previous versions of the mod (not all good but hey they're there) and also includes wiik 1-3.

I used to be really big into the fnf genre. Could do songs like these 30> misses, but i had to stop because i had gotten a minor case of carpal tunnel and arthritis while playing due to the over-working of my muscles. It would also hurt me somewhere above my wrist, but below my elbow. Not quite sure what that was, though.

You need to try the other weeks of the Shaggy mod, they are harder (if you get to the secret fight)

some cool classic mods to play: VS Ex-Boyfriend (vs tabi) Starlight Mayhem (old w/ classic vocals) VS A.G.O.T.I. starlight mayhem had a remaster so make sure to play the classic version i think vs a.g.o.t.i. and starlight mayhem both run on the same engine, and vs a.g.o.t.i. has some very difficult charts (expert and insane), i’d say go hard if you don’t like constant doubles and jacks. oh and play bob (on hard mode)

the Shaggy mod did actually get a pretty good remaster / sequel, I'd recommend trying it if you get time
