DO SONY E MOUNT LENSES WORK ON FULL FRAME? PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO SAMPLES
Do Sony emount lenses Work On Full Frame Cameras? Does the image quality suffer? It is a question that is often asked and begs for an answer.
For this episode I have used the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 Sony e-mount (APS-C) with the Sony FE 85mm f/1.8mm (Full Frame) on my Sony A7III
The episode of photography samples (reviewed in lightroom) and video samples. For the video samples I shot using the A7III APS-C Lens recognition feature and I also turned the feature of an shot both stills and video. So If you are thinking of ditching your Sony APS-C and upgrading to Sony APS-C Full Frame this episode could be useful for your to watch if you are thinking of upgrading your lenses.

So was I :). Into the Canon system for the last +10years, looking into the Sony system more and more, for my specific needs (video), and mostly using the 70-200 f2.8, not the most happy with the new RF version, the new Sony G 70-200 2.8 beats it now. In addition of having more and more third parties lens available for Sony (unlike Canon cutting out these..). Canon has its pros (color science), but Sony has been closing the gap (not there yet), and even surpassed Canon (the new 70-200 for exemple better in every way, just wished that zoom rotation wasn't reverse on the Sony lens, but I believe I'll catch up the habits, hopefully..).

85mm f/1.8 by any chance? If so... I'd go.for.kt. 56mm on full frame renders great images but with low mp.
talk about the crop, the decreased resolution when u use the APS-C lenses on the full frame one, not comparing the result side by side
Is this lens work with lumix s1?

I am not aware that there is a working adapter for Sony FE on Panasonic S1 mount
