Interesting idea such a shame the a7 doesn’t have 1:1 crop and you have to use the grid lines.
Using an APS-C lens on my Nikon Z7, camera automatically switches to APS-C Mode/crop mode, so no vignetting (you get the focal length crop factor)
M using sony 18-135 apsc lens on A7c full frame body. What would be the practical focal range it gives me?

In APS-C mode, that one would be something like 28-200. Not sure how that lens behaves in full frame mode, that is, how much vignette the photographs would have. If it's not too bad, 18-135mm would be an amazing range to have in full frame!

@@aows its awesome for videos . Not recommended for photos when the camera is 24mp. However it would be ok for 48mp photo camera.

There are not many APSC Lenses in high quality for Sony.
