Do-Run Run on a Du-rag Business

Ойын-сауық

The plaintiff started a headwrap business with the defendant. She claims the defendant stole her equipment, so she’s suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff didn’t do anything for their business, so she doesn’t think she owes. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

Damn, judge was a b!tc# this episode. Why is it so hard to comprehend that the defendant didn’t want to give the plaintiff her money back in person because she was being ghetto and aggressive, threatening her? JM rubbed me the wrong way with this case. I expected her to tell the unhinged plaintiff to act more civilized. The defendant seemed respectful, was well composed and polite despite the judge’s abrasiveness.

@kennethbaker5223 Literally every single episode the judge “decides a legal issue,” genius. I’m frustrated by what seems like a lack of accountability for the plaintiff's behavior. While the defendant's actions are important, the plaintiff's aggressive and threatening behavior seems to be a significant factor in the situation. The judge's focus on berating the defendant without addressing the plaintiff's behavior feels unbalanced to me. I feel that the plaintiff's actions should have been addressed more directly or that both parties should have been held accountable for their behavior equally. It’s not like she hasn’t done this in the past to countless others on the show.

I have to say this. Although, I preferred People's Court over the new show, Judge Milan hasn't changed. The set change, I heard people complaining about that & I heard that the cases are actors. Another thing I personally noticed is they're showing reruns all ready & that's the only thing I don't like about the new show. I'm not for sure if that's the case or not but I have been an People's Court fan when Judge Wapner was on it & Judge Milan is my favorite tv judge. But, you know the old saying. Opinions are like. . . . . .

Yes, I miss the original Peoples court, not this fake crap, what is wrong with them to think the fake would be better !!! It’s not, it sucks, I don’t even watch it anymore, why mess with something good ! 😡

Why does Harvey need to ask questions like "should you start a business with a friend or family?" Not many successful businesses were started by individual people. Microsoft, Google, Apple, KZread all started by friends.

@@perfectlyimperfect9129 Nothing wrong with that, but it is a silly question to ask. It is as bad as "Do you think mechanics take advantage of women" or do "Tradesmen take advantage of women". Sorry, but I just feel that they could come up with better questions.

She didn’t back out. She was forced out because the business relationship went sour. As a business owner you can’t just kick someone out after they spend money for you and reap all the profits. It’s called stealing.

@Tuturu708 she wasn't forced out. She got to many kids to take care of and couldn't put in any of the work. That's why the business relationship soured cuz defendant felt like she was doing everything

Plaintiff got some nerve lol lazy and then want ppl to jump for her. Why did you come into the business if your time was limited. Defendant should of gave that lil money to the plaintiff and move on. Since you making so much money. You seen she was playing in your face the whole time 🤦🏽‍♀️

What was the judges issue with the defendant!? i agree with the ruling but she was so aggressive it seems like the defendant was going to pay but this all escalated in a day the judge didnt really seem to say anything serious regarding the plaintiff's behavior
