Stealing a Family

Ойын-сауық

The plaintiff alleges the defendant stole her late husband’s Jet Ski out of a storage unit, so she’s suing. The defendant argues he used to work for the plaintiff’s husband, and the man offered the Jet Ski as partial payment, so he denies owing.

That's not how this works, no. She hired him as his lawyer, and his job was NOT to talk her out of going to court--it was to get her the best legal advice he could, and then let her make the decisions. He was there in case she needed to consult with him, but not to speak since it was small claims court.

Yes she looks very sad and hasn't really been coping with her husband's death accordingly. It's almost painful to hear her speak. Her attorney is even worse because he knew she didn't have sufficient evidence to proof her case. The money she spent to bring this attorney to PPC she should have spent it on a good therapist. You can see that she is sad, angry and doesn't know who to blame and how to get rid of those feelings. I feel for her.

The wave runner was payment for work he did before the husband died. He continued to work for the company after the husband died. It looks like this lady put him on the bottom of the list of bills owed. And then she complained that he sent her invoices! Apparently she expected him to let the bills slide out of sympathy, but he needs to eat like everyone else.

The fact that the Defendant had a bill of sale/title and was able to register it, kind of backs up the fact that the Plaintiff's husband gave the jetski to the Defendant as partial payment. Her attorney should have advised her against bringing this to court. She just doesn't have the proof to back up her allegations.

The plaintiff is wrong and doesn't want to accept it. The defendant had evidence and she only demonstrated that she's delusional and needs to move on. This woman needs some major therapy. She looks a bit unstable. Her attorney didn't want to say anything because he knew she didn't have leg to stand on this. He was there just to see if his pressence would intimidate the defendant and the defendant was being genuinely honest.

I have a question. She said that after her husband passed away the defendant kept sending requests to get paid. Why is he sending her requests to get paid if the Wave Runner was promised him as payment? So he took the Wave Runner and he was paid for the job by the wife after her husband passed away, but nobody brought this out. If you took both payments for one job then he owes the plaintiff one payment back and that would be the $2,500. No? Maybe I’m wrong but it just occurred to me after watching the video that it sounded like he had been paid twice, once by her given in payments and then by the husband giving him the WaveRunner for payment for work done.

She is never gonna let it go. If he wants any peace from her, he'd be better off just giving it back. If I legally purchased something and the previous owner came and told me they had made a mistake and said it meant a lot to their family - I wouldn't feel comfortable keeping it. This lady needed a project to focus on and someone to be mad at. This is sadly part of a very human grieving process. This guy just ended up being a target.
